Her thread was locked and she needed to consult with Aiden to get it opened. She asked in the LC thread if she should start logging again. People thought that was a weird question and she shouldn't care what others think. G4S suggested she start a new log rather than re-open the drama log. Aiden said he would PM her so I assume they worked something out.

I'm guessing she sweet-talked her way back into having a new thread opened with heavy restrictions in place, so that thread should be nuked before New Year's Day once all the holiday bull**** transpires.

it's a shame because I've actually learned a lot about health and fitness and dieting in general from these threads. Won't be stopping by any more, just to occasionally laugh at N1.

I think H&F in general is a very good forum with a small handful of idiots (possibly a big handful if you include the permanently banned ones) and a lot of very good posters. I think the MLYLT modding isn't the best, but if nothing else there definitely is some value in getting the very worst OOTers banned from MLYLT threads (both in H&F and in OOT), so meh.

jbacon's drunken exclamation that he "won't stop by there any more" (except for when he will) in protest of this outrage is pretty funny at least. Bless his heart.

I think H&F is a good forum too.

That said, loco should definitely be kept off the internet entirely.

We may have lost El Diablo but now that we got MLY back it's pretty much a wash.

Diablo is just waiting for another ItalianFX thread.

I like H&F. I've found logging there has been really helpful for me and the vast majority of posters are pretty great.

In regards to the modding of Mlylt's thread I do think it's a difficult task for mods in some ways as it can be extremely active and often{mostly) the reason the thread goes of track is due to totally bizarre posts M makes regarding her personal life. Plus she often denies even having banned posters in the first place. El D and J come to mind. No other thread except N1h has remotely the issues her thread does and I think she should take some responsibility for it. Stop posting attention whoring posts or at least minimise them. Report inappropriate posts. Ban troublesome posters and let mods know by reporting their posts. At least then the mods have a chance of trying to keep on top of it.

MBabs threads get lots of traffic, so I decided to try to post advice while it is a new beginning in good faith that she, or anyone else who wishes to learn some tips and strategies to take control of their diet, fitness, and body composition may use it. There are tons of resources for bold and drastic diets that will work short term but require unusually high disruption and commitment compared to simple behavior changes. They often are difficult to sustain and not even optimal for results medium to long term. That is rough for those who are struggling perpetually. Just putting an alternative in the ether with the hope that it helps out anyone else is a drop in the bucket to keep this place balanced for me as it sucks plenty of lifeblood in other ways.

That said, I am going get the **** out of dodge at the first sign of the meltdown. When this thread became her home I successfully stayed out of it for about a year for my own good.
