I’m not sure I can think of seeing cinnamon donuts at a donut shop. Are you talking about regular donuts or like hostess/entemann’s etc grocery store mini-donuts?

My favorite ones are cinnamon and sugar. They're just normal donuts instead of glazed they're sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. The one that got smooshed was a normal cinnamon roll

m, not that LL needs defending here, but he’s a ~30 year old guy that transitioned from one successful career field to a completely different one in a matter of a few months. He’s basically a self taught developer and from what he’s posted in /programming has a very bright career ahead of him.

Contrast this with your engineering degree from whatever crapass university in loltexas you graduated from, at a job you’re barely not being fired from. I think i know who to feel sorry for.

Well, posting in the LC thread after being contained should get anyone banned. The original containment was bad though, that was pretty much a standard low content post.

Yeah there's no point in containing someone if you just let them post wherever

Here's how I view the mlylt situation.

1. She was contained.
2. She failed to improve and was exiled.
3. A mod let her back and said he would watch her.
4. She was a very low key oot poster and made solid posts in the babs thread and possibly other threads.
5. She started to regress back to her attention-craving ways:
a) she brought her work situation up in the LC thread, something that has been a prominent topic in her blog and certainly belongs there.
b) when asked to post it there, made an argumentative post - meaning she thinks it's fine to bring up her work in OOT's LC thread, even tho she was contained and then exiled for posting her own life drama here before.
c) she brought up a convo between her and code about her going out to a dance, which came from a hilariously wrong take which (let's be real) was probably just an excuse to mention the dance, and if it wasn't, it's still historically accurate to assume a connection.
6. So I pulled the trigger on containing her again because if she wants to post her own attention-seeking drama about her life here, that'll be the thread for it.
7. She violated that immediately, further showing she has no intention to reform and wants to be able to seek attention.

There is a huge majority of posters here who do not want her drama infiltrating their OOT experience, and I certainly count myself as one. She also doesn't provide nearly enough value as a general topic poster to warrant any leniency.

And I see now that she's made a gimmick to evade the ban so looks like she asked for it to be made permanent.

When did MLY even get permission to post outside of the containment thread in the first place?

Kind of seems like she decided to blog in her HF thread for a while, then when the heat was off her a bit thanks to golfnutt, she crept back into OOT and started posting everywhere all willy nilly again.

We've just been looking the other way and trying to allow her to re-assimiliate.

Iirc she was uncontained, then like Larry said started out ok, but has now regressed back to peak mly.

Circumventing ban was very dumb though. Just not smart at all.

Fwiw I perma'd her gimmick and told her she can wait out the ban on the main account.

Which is a very kind gesture since other than babs she requires the most moderation by a long shot.
