Yep. That’s probably the, i dunno, tenth time she’s said “ok no more relationship/work/etc talk in this blog, I’m only going to talk about health and fitness from now on. Then after somewhere between one minute to a few days she’s right back to talking about the exact same stuff. Until someone gives her a reply she really doesn’t like reading, usually one that really hits home about some realities she doesn’t like acknowledging. Then she wants to move on to a different topic.

All of those things remind me of another poster who also quit OOT like she did.

M needs to understand just how much like tbabs she is instead of getting so defensive about it. She also needs to understand that if she lost 100 pounds she could have an infinite supply of facecuppers without really changing anything else about herself.

To be fair, objectively your work stories do share many parallels with Nima's job thread.

Do not get that confused with anyone comparing you to his level of scumbaggery.

Two separate issues entirely imo.

That being said, just like OOT was right about Nima getting fired, it certainly seems like you're finna get fired.

I am really trying to take all the advice given, contemplate the different views and look at things from different prospectives to improve.

Comparing me to Nima is not giving well intentioned helpful advice.

Nah I genuinely dislike her as a person, too. Mostly because she's a bigoted, fascist, neglectful, abusive sociopath. The work stuff is just poorly written fiction.

There is also something else that I've been contemplating and I'm not sure how I feel about the morality of it.

My brother is on disability because of his bi-polar and I could be too. Because I started working so young, I've paid enough into social security to get the maximum benefits if I go on disability. I'm hung up on the morality part. Legally I would definitely qualify and I have paid into social security for almost 20years, but I feel like I am able bodied and can contribute to society and it's just really ****ing hard to do while being crazy.

I dunno, I probably will never do this, but it crosses my mind sometimes.

Well, to be fair, I believe she's serious when she says she will not discuss work/code in her fitness blog but her resolve is super weak. On the other hand, you'd think after countless failed attempts, she stop making public declarations.

Stuff like her squatting inside someone's rack when told to buzz off is complete bull**** though.
