You're just making a poor decision, you should go to the dealer that doesn't just give away cars at the first mention of buying it and is critical of their customers. Its still your choice for buying that. Its like the guy who posted in the scams thread and saves a few bucks in postal or whatever. DiB is not stealing anything, he is 'abusing' a policy the business offers. I know we love to call him a scumbag and whatnot but I'd rather have him do this vs not picking up his dog ****.

I see that Alobar just said it. I don't recall anyone saying it prior to that, though. It's the dealer who is getting harmed, not the next customer.

I think it's fine.

The only problem I would have is potential impact to reputation.

Non zero chance that two of the dealerships get together and figure it out and that gets passed to someone I know or work with.

Being known as a stand-up guy is massively +EV long term.
