Those hospital folks can be funny. I let a patient's friend use a wheelchair. I trusted him that he would bring it back. I should have taken his DL. Idiot me.

I went to the floor where the patient was and I asked all the nurses for the wheelchair. I said that cost $700.

Everyone started laughing. At me.

"That is long gone on eBay"
"It is at a chopshop"
"The patient has AIDS. You don't want it back"
"You know gullible isn't a word in the dictionary?"

M's attempt to swallow a spoonful of cinnamon for money ended up with her "very smart" (read: dim) daughter catching only the audio of M puking up cinnamon. M then proceeds to claim that was her "swallowing it but then puking it up".

When ppl are stunned she changes the topic to how she is worried that her obese body is going to get "giant man muscles" from her week of exercise.

I care because being stronger & seeing my muscles gets me more motivated to get to the gym consistently. Today it felt so good to actually see shoulder and arm muscles instead of just big blobs of fat. I don't want to have big gross guy muscles but I want to look toned. I used to love how my quads would stick out slightly more...

And from that you got that she's worried she's going to get giant man muscles?

English is a spoken language, not a written one. There's a reason you pronounce it knight and knife as opposed to knight and knife. Dictionaries report on word usage, not define words. Literally means whatever we want it to mean, you ignorant pedant.

My sentence succinctly conveys my intended meaning. Moreover, the literal modifier is necessary to convey that I am not merely flippantly disparaging the differently-abled, but am purposefully asserting that M's mental development has been delayed or diminished.

You're not going to win this. Get your panties out of a bunch. Maybe they're caught on your giant labias.

Should we have vs threads, where two feuding people get locked up together in a temporary containment thread with a poll, and observers vote on which one gets let out while the combatants have at it? Loser remains contained in the thread for X days. Might reduce some thread infection rates. Would allow fighting people to get it out of their systems, provides a place for rubberneckers to watch, contains infection spread. Similar to a mini version of OOT survivor.
