Actually, the quality of 2+2 is overall solid. There are a few poor posters like me, but I find the majority of posts readable.

You watch this and the cop looks guilty. He was found not guilty.

Backstory: He was drunk and pointing what clearly looked life a rifle and a scope outside the window of a hotel room. Just like Vegas. Any deviant movement and of course the cops are going to shoot.

I am in the minority who thinks the cop was clearly not guilty. The cop even said he would exact the same way again. You can't blame the police for following the training. The cop didn't create the fearful situation. It was the guy trying to impress a girl by pointing a weapon outside the window who did. Even she said that people are going to get the wrong idea. Yes, the idea that you are planning to kill someone.

Looks like they shot him just because he stretched his arm up? I don't know what they have been trained to do, but seems pretty bad to me. Seems like he was looking for any excuse to shoot (maybe subconsciously).

Either golf is describing what happened wrong or he's not in the minority.

"Cop" is no longer a cop, but gets acquitted of basically cold-blooded murder. Entire video is enraging, guy was your typical power-tripping douchewad as is shown multiple times on video.

It took all of 6 hours to find him not guilty. It wasn't like they needed days to deliberate. They probably decided in 6 minutes, but that would have looked bad. I think they just brought the case against him to assuage the public knowing that he would probably be found not guilty anyway.

He was following police procedures. You can certainly blame policy, training and the limited weapons they have. The individual, not really.
