Let me ask you a question, if I said I've been boning this broad would it change your perspective?

She also said she feels like I'm holding things over her head, such as the mobile and website, to control her and that I ought to be giving unconditionally. We hashed it out but I've decided if I see her again it's extremely low cost dates... coffee, ice cream, walks, etc.... for a long while.
She's not a very good person. Just let her go. She's repeatedly treated you poorly and you really barely know her. There are too many other fish in the sea and while she is pretty decent looking, she seems like she has so much baggage and craziness that there is no way she is worth your time. You could easily find something better, almost anyone could be better.

Having cooking skills is so +EV in life in general. One of my goals in life is to open a restaurant. But even if that doesn't pan out, cooking for business meetings, family, et cetera is still an amazing asset.

It's not like I'm looking to put a ring on her finger. She's fun to hang out with and actually really cool. And nice to look at and touch. Like I said, if there's any interaction going forward, it's going to be at a very low cost financially.

wu,

Interesting salmon dish. Did you put the panko on (one side? two?) and then cook the panko and fish at the same time in the pan? I have found that panko browns less easily than regular breadcrumbs, so if I want them to get the good brown flavor in quick cooking situations, I pan-toast them before applying. That's as simple as just putting some panko in a dry pan and tossing it around every once in a while until it turns golden. Just a thought. Your dish sounds delicious.

ATF,

Yeah, what wu and ED said.

You were like "I'm finally done being used by this chick, who doesn't really make time for me, uses me for my time, money, apparently discount cell phones, and labor, and doesn't reciprocate my affection in any way!" and she was like "I don't understand, I give you my time and affection all the time! Also, uh, you haven't finished my website and took away the free cell phone!" and your response was "You're right, I should come back and do those things right away! Maybe if I can give you some unreciprocated sex acts and then leave some cash on the kitchen table on the way out, this will work? How much do you need, like $50?"

edit: I'm assuming low financial cost includes "buy both of us coffee then head back to her house and continue work on her website"?

No. That might actually make it even sadder.

Yeah, if I had one complaint about the dish, it was that the panko didn't get crispy enough. I'll definitely take your advice next time I try something like this! I just put the panko on the non-skin side, seared it in the pan for four minutes, then stuck it in the oven at 450 for 6 minutes (afterwards I covered it in foil and let it sit for about 10 minutes). Definitely not optimal for crispiness, but it was pretty good in a jif. I wasn't really following a recipe either, just freestyling with what I had. Probably something I'll return to, I think!

Probably going to take El D's white wine poached salmon suggestion shortly. The added benefit is that I usually get a magnum and get drunk when I'm cooking with wine.

Continuing with the cooking tangent, last night I did a tilapia in balsamic/ butter sauce. It was tasty!

wu,

You can also add a little olive oil to the panko with pan, but I don't think it's necessary.

Not quite. She also told me on our 4th date that one of the reasons she liked me was, unlike other guys she's gone out with, I wasn't always trying to **** her; that I seemed like I was actually interested in getting to know her. I should also clarify that when it comes to her website, I uploaded a wordpress template to a server and scraped some of her content and pasted into a page. I've probably put 90 minutes into it. When I'm at her place "working on it," we've put like 30 minutes into it. The majority of the time is spent bull ****ting. If I have any regrets, it's the money I've spent. BUT I've had a pretty fun time and done some stuff that, without her, I likely never would have done.

Low financial cost means I'm going to dial back the spending. I'm going to turn her approach toward me onto her by largely only offering my time and my affection, and see how she reacts to it.

Also, not sure why you think she doesn't give me her time? She told me last night that on our previous date she blew off some other dude to spend time with me. And as I mentioned in the TR, she made a point to tell me that she didn't take her exbf's call, who she still communicates with and cares about, because she was gonna hang with me.

I stirred it up in a bowl with OO to make it stick better. Probably would be sufficient, no?

Just had my most fruitful conversation on Tinder so far:

Her third message:
What do you do?

Her fifth message:
What ethnicity are you?

Her 6th message:
ooo cool lol. so do you have your own place?

My next message:
So how much do you weigh?

ATF for sure. He's the only one I feel is hopeless. Just damaged beyond repair. Amazin has a ton of work to do but I can imagine a path where he finds success. I don't even feel bad for Yeota. Other than living with his parents he doesn't really have any problems. I mean he's a dick but that's a problem for everyone else, not him.

Where do you live and what ethnicity are you? I find this super offputting for obvious reasons. One of which the fact that it's usually asked with the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

This is a loser way of thinking. You can't just do a strict cost-benefit analysis and determine that the time and money you spend with her is worth what you're getting in return. It's a relationship. The benefit should barely even be a concern. The equity of effort put into it is a much better way to judge it. If that's lopsided, who cares what you're getting out of it. That's a toxic relationship that will leave you frustrated and bitter.
