Your views will increase whenever you change your photos...its just the algorithm that sites use to make sure the active profiles get the most attention.

ATF, how old are you?

Not to mention having an obvious douchey-dude with earrings photo might trigger more views out of curiosity and not actual interest in dating them. If someone looked over the top douchey I'd probably look just to be like wtf why do these people exist. I really hate guys with earrings. Getting views does not = like. An old man could wear a diaper in a profile picture and I'd probably click it.

I have been changing my default photos. I've had 4 different ones in the past 2 weeks and I've never seen such a spike or had this many random visitors (+ new messages & favorited).

In fact, before today I've had only conservative (relatively) default pics. Even before I started regularly posting here & had the whole discussion about it, I just felt that it would be harder to take me seriously as a young professional while projecting that image. In real life it's fine, because a convo with me can change a lot of initial perceptions. But online I know many times it's just a scan of pics. That being said... seems like girls prefer the "unprofessional hooligan" image to anything else I put up

Is there a way to view people on Tinder that you have already seen but didn't match with? I like everyone while giving them only a cursory glance and occasionally I'll know the girl and want to look at her photos but by then it's too late as I'm already on to the next.

Well I didn't necessarily mean rare is what causes the curiosity. Jersey Shore attracts views. Increased profile views could just be like a new exhibit at the zoo. Doesn't mean they want to date you more or less based on douchey earring pic. But maybe! I just think it's too early in your experiment to come to that conclusion.

For some reason Tinder has developed some bug for me in the last week. Every time I open the app, I get am immediately presented with the same girl. It's happened about a dozen times in a row, and every time I swipe right, but don't match. After this first girl, the subsequent girls appear to be new profile, but I have no idea what is going on here.

Don't go dark. These days when I set a date a few days in advance I almost 100% use the 'we'll set the day now but Ill get back to you about location and time' unless its not needed. I will almost never randomly text unless I have an actual thing happen to me thats linked to her (like we talk about a bar/place to eat/movie on the date or online and I go see it or whatever).

I dont think the start of casual dating or a serious relationship should be very different for me personally (I dont get 1st date sex very often :P).

I think its pretty simple what happened, you found a specific subset of girls that are into into your look and emphasized that specific part when changing it up. So instead of x amount of the girls thinking this guy is douchey and x amount of girls thinking he's not douchey enough, you're fully appealing to the last category now.

I for one think they are good and fun and you bring something to this thread. I dont mean anything bad with douchey just use it to talk about a certain style.

I dont want to use this as an excuse for not banging crazy hot women but I cant ****ing stand dumb girls so I have to put up with a lot more **** internally when being with them and it tires me out.

RANDOMTRs, TLDR;
Went to verysmallgirl thursday, I have been dating her for about 2 weeks. Its Sinterklaas here, some awkward holiday with an old bearded that guy that comes around every year in december with his helpers and gives present to little kids that have been good (pic in spoilers). We decided to stay in so I surprised her with a bottle of chilled champagne (expert tip).
We have sex on the floor which was terrible. Move to the bed and its still pretty meh, I dont know why. We finish the bottle in bed and I ask her if it was meh for her as well. She said it was good but not great so we talk a little bit about it but can't really figure out what it is.
We talked a bit about anti conception and STDs. I havn't been able to keep up my safe sex drive since I was with her (blame game, I never seen someone put it in that quickly) so we needed to talk some stuff over and she tells me she got tested a few weeks earlier and is clean, I went a few days ago. She cashes in her 5 minutes of spooning and tells me its time to leave after we're done. I might invite her over for christmas day because we're both alone but feel like it would be super awkward so probably going to pass on that.



In other news, I might have to rename livingwithexbf girl as she has moved out and I went to visit her new place last night! We have fun and stuff but I felt a tiny bit sad when I complimented her on her dress this morning and she said that she had to look good as you never know when you'll meet the man of your life. We're never going to have a LTR but it just hurts hearing that sometimes I guess.
