You are looking to get all girls, white girls included. Again I would add a pic with you and some white friends and probably remove the flower pic.

Constructive criticism welcome.
I think your profile pic is good, and the graduation photo with those girls is an excellent inclusion. Having this, I think you can get rid of the girl w/flowers photo.

Given its emphasis on you profile, and the fact that playing pro baseball is really hard to do, girls are going to pounce on that....so if you are lying you'd better be ready to back it up.

That "You should message me" line looks familiar! (Not that I care, or that's it's particularly creative in the first place)

There's usually red flags in the profile that will tip you off. Try to avoid the girls who dress like they're high maintenance, but don't have the income for it, and the ones that have terrible grammar/spelling. Consider looking for girls who appeal to your intellectual side.

Didn't see this the first time, but it looks weird that you're only looking for new friends.

I put the maximum age range it would allow in I really don't care about age as long as there isn't a rediculous difference. I've knocked it down to 50. I've seen a few hot 40+ year olds so I don't want to exclude them.

I do have some kilt pics. The hair is staying tied up for now though. The last hairdresser completely ****ed it up so I'm waiting for it to grow out.

I'll probably put a proper kilt picture up at some point.

Remove the "I'm working for a bank at the moment." How does this attract women in the least?

Most of the rest is pretty good.

Same with the "on a typical friday night" entry. The mindset here is "If I was a potential date, would I find this stuff attractive or even mildly interesting". Do you think some chick is really thinking "I need to find a guy who says he's studying on a friday night"? Stop being honest, start trying to attract people. Who cares if WTF is in your online dating profile is true or not. Get a date and start from there.

None of your photos are bad but i think the last two make you look way better. I would go with just them but thats just personal preference.

Some spelling mistakes to fix...

competitive
'weather' should be 'whether'
'loose' should be 'lose'

Ty for the feedback. Will correct the grammar. Too reliant on spell check.

Did you type this profile on your phone? Use some punctuation!

Also, don't start your profile with "Hi there ladies".

Re: Online dating thread

As a general tip for anyone on OKC, if you can't think of anything good to answer for one of the questions, skip the question rather than putting down something lame. The question will not appear on your profile, so most people viewing your profile won't even realize it was skipped.

Crispin reminded me of this when he answered "far too many things" to the "what do you spend a lot of time thinking about" question.

I didn't email her initially, but after I saw that she look at my profile I went ahead and sent an email mentioning a bunch of things in her profile, specifically things we have in common. Being that this is Match.com and all, I figured there was about a 1 in a million chance she would reply, but she actually sent me an email back basically saying she liked my profile and would be up for meeting up for chatting.

So, I sent her a follow-up email a couple days later saying more-or-less "great, when is a good time to call". She emails me a couple days later saying "Hey, let's use normal email not Match.com email because it's easier" and that's it. So I email her like a day later from normal email account briefly telling her how my New Year's Eve was and asking, again, when a good time to call would be. Have not heard from her since. I'm probably over-thinking this, but what do you guys think? Did she decide she wasn't interested all the sudden? I'll probably send a follow up email in a few days in any case and if she doesn't reply to that, give her up, ldo. What is the normal time frame of email replies you expect from a girl who you have already have first contact with?
sounds like she just wants to chat via email to get to know you a bit, before talking to you on the phone. unless i'm misunderstanding what you wrote.

Also, in your first pic, the caption says at the end, "Obviously it was her Idea. I not that vein lol."

Make the 'I' in 'Idea' lowercase. Add the word 'am' in the middle of 'I not.' And it's 'vain,' not 'vein' here.

I wondered about that, too. She did specifically say she would up for 'chatting' or meeting up. I guess by chatting she might have thought I meant email. English is not her first language, too, so that throws another wrench in there. Hell, I might as well ask her to meet up now to avoid confusion.

I like the cover pic, but it could be brighter.

"After living in NYC...MY whole life," not 'your.'

Just say you're good at poker, not poker chip tricks. That sounds like saying you're good at being a clown

"...feel like saying "Hi," please do!" (I know, I'm a nit)

Take out income.

You might want to caption the pic with the pregnant girl. It just makes people wonder. I remember I gave a picture to a new boyfriend one time and he was like, "WTF, you gave me a pic with you and another guy!" The guy was my brother. I thought it was obvious (we look alike), but I was wrong.

The last pic doesn't look authentic, even though I love the look on your face.

Yup- I had this problem using sarcasm w/ girls a few years ago bc I didn't change my tone enough and none of them ever got it. I normally play it safe on this end now, especially in textual situations.

If this is a consistent trend for you, I'm guessing you're doing something early on that gives them the impression that you might say yes.

I'm not sure if it's the Scottish English or what, but it seems kind of awkward to me. I can't exactly put my finger on it, there are a few things. It may be just as an American reading it.

You are really considering women up to 50? Wow, good on you, mate!

Religion: Atheism and laughing about it! is a huge turn-off to me, but that could just personal, idk.

Job description is a turn-off, too. Sounds like you are a clerk/assistant/secretary or something right out of high school. Maybe just use something more general.

I like all of your pics for the most part. Maybe it's because you look like Glenn (which isn't my type at all, but he won my heart long before I saw him in person), so YMMV.

"i am quite competative" is "I am quite competitive."

"What I’m doing with my life-
Ill be chilling in florida for the next month or so. Gettin some sun and relaxing hell yeah." I don't like this. At all.

Your English, grammar and punctuation is really bad. I'm not sure why. Some things you get right, then other, seemingly easy stuff is way off. I don't think you are an unintelligent guy, but some of it sounds awkward.

I like all of the pics except the up-the-nose pic and the caption on the drinking pic.
