Since I'm a chick, and very candid, I'd be willing to give you guys some advice. I've been happily married for a long time. I met my husband online in a non-romantic way when I wasn't even looking.

I will be brutally honest with ya's. But at least you won't have to worry about some skank giving you advice.

Biggest caveat, though. If you ask for pics or 'pics or GTFO,' you're gonna get the one of my chest a couple of weeks after my mastectomy

Guys, if you're only looking for sex, how many dates would you give it before dumping her?

I'm thinking 2...

Yep, 2 sounds good, 3 at the absolute most, and don't do anything expensive.

I dont think you can speak with absolutes and decide on rigid rules like that.

It depends on what happens on those two dates, the progression, the vibe, and how much that girl attracts you sexually. Sometimes its your fault that the situation didnt escalate. Other times girls need a certain setting. A lot of girls arent going to sleep with you after a coffee date but definitely will after clubbing or whatever.

You have to exercise some degree of judgement and awareness.

I suck at profiles but i like your self summary, the tone is upbeat. Maybe one or two more sentences about living many different places to emphasize it.

One random point is that everything about you is almost TOO upbeat and nice and nonthreatening, might need more of an edge somewhere. But its just an impression.

Traveling is spelled with only one L.

I'd crop out the "OK" in the last pic.

You're not a bad looking guy, and seem fine. Not sure why you need a dating site, but then again, Indiana (I'm originally from Missouri, so I feel your pain).

I can't see the pic/profile. That might be part of the problem. I was able to see the others, but not yours.

I don't need it. I actually made the profile because of this thread. I'm just trying to see if it's any easier. So far, it's been just as exhausting as real world dating, though...

Oh, also, would cropping the hand gesture out be better or just using a different pic? I already cropped off the other arm...

If he's 20 and lives in Bloomington, I assume he goes to Indiana University, which is an enormous college campus.

You're probably visible to OKCupid members and not others. It's a setting under Settings/Privacy.

Oic. I guess the pic can go either way, although it's a good pic of you. I wasn't even thinking about your college. I always think of the Cutters and "Breaking Away" when I hear Bloomington, Indiana.

"I spend a lot of time thinking about:

You made me think and laugh. I was happy after reading your profile, fwiw.

I like your second pic better. Your eyes don't look like they're popping out, and your facial hair isn't right overtaking your attractive face. You're pretty hot, show it.

Kinky is good, imo, but I like that

Thanks... I've got a thick beard (where it grows at least).

What's the take on using IcyHotMonkey? Do people search SNs? I wouldn't want a POF person reading my 2+2 posts. Create a new account or unrealistic to think girls search? I know I don't.

I only search if it looks like the girl is making a reference that I don't get. I also have my OKC name different than my sn anywhere else.

I was thinking about that the other day. On my profile, there is a the pic that I use for Twitter. If they image search it, they find my Twitter, my screen name, my real name. From there, then can find me 2+2 stuff and potentially where I live.
