Doesn't matter. The point of the message is simply to get her number and move communications off the site. If she's interested, which it seems like she is based on her communications so far, then this type of wording nittery doesn't matter and isn't worth worrying about.
i think it's better to use fewer words when possible as well, so touch base > i will get back in touch with i stopped reading this message and stopped paying attention.

i also feel like this keeps coming up over and over again, but is it really a big deal if the girl doesnt want to put out on the first date? unless its spelled out clearly beforehand that its just a hook up, i dont see why its a problem to put in 2-3 dates, assuming you actually like the girl. if im wrong, let me know though.

the peeing part is another story.

I don't mind waiting a few dates. Just got my hopes up based on the easy hookup comments. I'm pretty sure I wasn't overly aggressive to the point of killing future chances. I only got turned down maybe 5 times they weren't hostile and the rest of the night went well. More worried about her embarrassment from the bed wetting

bobbo,

Wait, so you go out drinking w/ this chick, then walk back to her place (what time, and how far from bars?), then you spend the night w/ her and wake up at 7am, at which point you both dressed and walk over to your place (how far is that?) where you get in bed for more cuddling? How long does that go on? This whole sequence sounds pretty odd, though maybe this type of thing is standard in bedwetting situations. Where do you live, btw?

Yes seems a bit odd. Also, you should just cool it on pushing for sex. I cannot imagine pestering a girl for sex like that. Just hang out with her again, be cool, and you will have sex.

+1 to never using the phrase "touch base". it's obviously super standard in a lot of business contexts, but that doesn't make me cringe any less when i hear it.

I'm with sp. Not that you should be nitty about wording, but it should be in your own words. "Touch base" sounds very business like. If you're presenting yourself as a successful businessperson and that's how you normally talk, it fits, but if you copy-paste that and your other messages are written in another tone, it's going to come off as weird.

We left a little after 1AM from bars. Her place was maybe 5-6 blocks from the bars and mine was a few blocks away from hers. We slept in spoon position for a few hours at both of our places. Gainesville FL

bobbo,
I think we're just a little confused as to why you both went back to your place after bed wetting? Why not change the sheets? Why not move to the couch? Or why not just part ways since it's morning and look to meet up again another time?

D,

Right. My point was it doesn't really matter and people get too bogged down overcomplicating inconsequential little details. Touch base/talk/chat/whatever, just write something simple and normal about getting back in touch next week to make plans, using whatever specific phrasing is natural for you.

I used Hunters suggestion with finalizing a plan once the week is over line as I never heard the touch base one before... . I am also no native English speaker. The touch base one kind of makes me think of two persons bumping each others ass together ;-). Like Diabolo said its all semantics anyways and shouldn't really influence if she can free some time in her timetable...

Here's a fun one: I met a woman through OKC about six weeks ago. She came over to my place and we slept together the first night. We hung out maybe 8 or 9 more times, sleepovers/sex each time. Lately she has been distant/absent whereas she used to contact me every day (either through texts or gchat). It's sort of like she broke up with me (even though we weren't actually together and it was very casual) without actually telling me.

I believe it's called The Fade.

ETA: Oh and she deleted her OKC account last week. Bizarre.

Not looking for a Jewish girl but obviously would date one. I thought the same that if I put it and it turned some away it probably would be for the best anyway.

Wow tonight was the hottest girl I've ever made out with. Probably not so cool to brag since I didn't get her in the sack but w/e. Kind of a weird evening in that we saw the film about the pr0nstar. She also mentioned the porn theme was up her street and she used to do a bit of burlesque dancing. As homosexual as you will all probably think I am, I'm not sure this girl's for me as we don't have much in common, despite having (just) enough to say over the evening. She does want to see me again though...

I'm a non-practicing Jew and Jewish girls are always nuts and a lot of them have this 'thing' about being with a Jewish guy even if he doesn't observe at all. I went on JDate (lol) for 3 months because I thought it would be nice to find a Jewish girl. I found one amazing one, ****ed it up, then didn't really meet anyone else on the site I was interested in, so I left.

My OKC date for tomorrow(drinks at 8) put a 2 hour time constraint on it. She kinda looks different in each picture(though none are awful) so I'm not sure exactly what I'm gonna get.

Tyler,

Not that bizarre that someone you had a casual thing with found someone to get more serious with. What's the bizarre part? Did you want to have a breakup conversation?

Is this 3, maybe even 4 different looking women in 1 profile?

I seem to see this a lot......anyone else?
That super secret tool that nev guy from catfish uses makes me think they are of the same person. Plus 1 and 2 I can see as the same. And 3 and 4 as well. Now if the person in 1 or 2 dyed their hair brown or the person in 3 or 4 dyed their hair blonde, I would believe they are all of the same person.

tyler, were you wanting to be the guy that she moved into the relationship phase with?

bobbo, her moving to your apartment seems to indicate there is no lingering embarrassment or anything over the bed-wetting going forward. had an old gf that used to do that when she got really drunk, it sucked.
