Don't want to derail this into a workout discussion, but yes it is broscience, as anyone in H&F will tell you. If it works for you, great! Clearly whatever you're doing has produced results. But recommending it as universal advice is silly.

I can't stand working out early in the morning. I have no motivation, and I physically feel much weaker. I also have an arthritic knee that limits my mobility when I wake up in the morning, but is pretty much no problem by the afternoon.

Pay,

What shark said. But overall sounds like you've got a good program and diet habits in place that are working well for you, so keep it up!

I feel pretty great working out after sitting in an office chair all day, at least if I have a banana or something beforehand.

Yeah, I always exercise in the late afternoon after getting home from the office. After sitting for 9 hours, it's nice to do something physical.

Meh, I could post a fairly shredded picture of myself even though I'm directly contravening P4MS's advice, but it seems like a lame way to make a point. His diet's 99% great, and I'm sure he works out very well based on the pics, so clearly he's doing it right. But that doesn't make "don't eat red meat" and "go to the gym first thing in the morning" good advice for everyone.

ETA: insert Thr.emp point about dick punching here

Thanks KP! Appreciate it alot. I played bball in college so it made it really smooth transition to stay in shape, plus I happen to really enjoy being active etc.

@ shark, again, let me reiterate my point... I am expressing what WORKS for ME. And.to clarify, red meat is ok just not regularly, so in moderation. I should have emphasized this. I know most love red meat, so saying lay off it is probably best.

I do this too, even if the avatar is something really random like a green triangle. Then when they post a picture, my response is, "oh wait, you're human".

I don't think 5'8" is below average for Asian guys, but I'm just going off of the people I knew from college.

Out on New Years eve with a really cool chick I'm kind of dating, but also good friends now. Feel free to rate her on appearance, I'm curious.

Spoiler:

Shirtless pic - currently do not have any photos on any dating sites like this, but thinking a candid shot (not one with phone in hand) may be good. Thoughts?

Spoiler:
If i may, dont do the hair going down your forehead thing and dont wear white or any crewneck tees under your shirts. Workout obviously has been working for you though.

Dude it was a business casual shirt, lol. Cant not wear an under tee in those. It's like wearing a suit n tie with no tee under. Point taken though

Sure you can. The only point of a tee under a shirt would be to potentially help with sweat marks. In which case you should use very deep vnecks that wont stick out.

I doubt youll find many marketing or fashion pics with a tee under the shirts.

YTFs post might be the most awkward, weird, creepy, facepalm-inducing thing I've ever read. That's saying a lot. No shocker you're online dating, lol

The biggest problem with red meat is that studies that study the dangers of red meat tend to not differentiate between natural grass fed beef and chemical laden processed hot dogs.

Yeah, not even close...go look up the thread where some 2p2er pretended to be a girl on a dating site and posted the messages from guys.

YTF's approach to dating is slightly creepy and formulaic (just be yourself? it's not that hard), but it's nowhere near the top of the list for any of those adjectives. I mean, we have a ****ing creeptastic real doll thread and famous serial killer formerly posting here. Not to mention David Sklansky. Let's keep it real, yo.

Yeah wearing an under tee is an absolute no-no imo. Looks bad, and dudes you see wearing them nearly always dress poorly. Also agree with the hair point, you have a hair cut almost identical to mine and i never wear any sort of fringe. Great job with the gym program though...I'm slowly getting to that level!
