This sounds racist , y would you judge somebody based off age and education? It's not 1994 anymore dale

One time I was talking to this chick who liked my profile. Her profile wasn't even up at the time. We chatted on the phone after 2 or 3 emails. She didn't seem that great over the phone but whatever. I mentioned I was going to see a band I like at a bar later that night and she could meet me there if she wanted. I had no idea what she looked like. She showed up for a little bit, we kind of hit it off somewhat anyway but she had to go. A few years later we got married.

Seriously, I talked to her on the phone for maybe 5 minutes after maybe 2-3 emails. No biggie. Totally casual. And if I didn't like her I don't think it was any different then sitting next to some random who I had not met online.

You can do super-game via text too. But sometimes if you have a really casual, "I'm going here tonight" and it feels comfortable enough then you can get on with it.

Conversely, I had this other girl who I messaged and chatted with on the phone for a couple weeks. She was awesome. Saw a bunch of pics of her. Liked. Then we met in person and it was total fizzle-city. Nothing. It was so different and the chemistry wasn't there. I don't know why.

Thanks for the detailed write-up :-)

You seem like exactly what I've been looking for. However, there's one thing I can't do with you, and that's run a 5K race. I've been saying for a year now that running is tantamount to Chinese water torture.

How are you?

No worries, it was the 1st one I ever ran. I'm not big on fitness. I just have good genes I guess. Lol.

Haha, that is awesome. Which I could be so lucky. I'm not big on fitness either, I just have no choice in the matter. So what was it about Trampa that made you fall in love with it?

Well it's actually Clearwater & you wanna know the funniest thing about my statement before I got down here & found a job here? My new job is a fitness consultant. Lmao.

Short convo so far, but chick seems real cool. She's attractive, but I was really more drawn to what she wrote about herself on her page.

So are experiences-advice with girls you met IRL OK for this thread?

According to BL this means you shouldn't use his lines, since you just need to be yourself.

You have to make fun of her for the bathroom self pic... At least it's not in duck-face. I hate duck-face.

I had a similar experience. Amazing online chemistry with people who failed IRL. Then this one girl who would send me these 2 page emails (that during the online dating process can seem way too long). We just couldn't find a time to meet, I almost didn't go on a date with her. Then I did, and she was amazing IRL. Going to be 2 years soon, and we live together. So really getting on those dates is the most important thing.

"Strategy" and "relationship" are pretty subjective in this context...

I met my current serious live-in gf while out looking for a B-squad to compliment my A-squad. Was livin' the dream, en fuego. Embrace life's surprises.

Our hero is just lookin' for some love, and I'm rooting for him.

Yeah don't make fun of her bathroom pic now. Do it on the actual date.

"Fitness consultant huh. I'm intrigued now. Might have to take you out for icecream see what you're all about"

Send that amazing

some girl messaged me today "liked your profile, thought i'd say hi" which in itself is lame but the only thing she has on her profile is she likes sleeping and the spends a lot of time thinking about if people can read her mind, so anyone wanna suggest something witty and funny for me to say. It feels like it should be easy with the mind reading thing but im drawing a blank.

I think it's lame when girls have nothing on their profile, but I don't it's lame at all for a girl to send this sort of message. I would much rather get this message than the sort of unsolicited messages I do tend to get from girls, which are very long and detailed. Those messages are too much work to respond to, and make me feel guilty when I ignore them because the girl is unattractive.

meh i would prefer if they at least just asked a question or made an interesting comment, something which is easy to reply to. Obviously big long messages are kind of boring but at least try to be funny or something. Im sure thats what they expect of the guys who message them.

You have to build up to blowjobs. Lead with how much you like anal. Be sure to mention your 12-inch dick. After that, blowjob talk will be welcomed.

Does anyone ever use the live chat function on any of these sites?

I never have, just wondering if it's common.

I don't use it. At least on OKC they aren't even very good to begin with. I have in the past and it sucks, sometimes it doesn't play a sound etc. just get dem digits

How often are yall getting messaged first? That is definitely blue moon territory, and I think a lot of it is because I have a pretty decent main pic. Of the girls who do message first I would say 90% are from very unattractive girls, and there is definitely a huge overlap with girls who just say 1-3 words no matter what.

I have hooked up with two different girls who messaged first though so idk.

I get 1-2 initial messages from girls a week, usually not only unattractive, but high enemy %/not much I have in common with either. I feel bad if they say something remotely funny at least (which is rare), but think it's better to just not reply as to not get someone's hopes up. I know I dislike it when I get a message back saying "hey thanks! Not interested"

I get message first a couple times a day on pof. The girl is almost always fat or has kids.
