I plan on moving april-may timeframe. I actually have alot of family in lakeland that i havent seen since I was a kid...but i'm not too big on family. (Something I might be looking to change). Mostly cousins/uncles...good country folk.

Another semi-interesting adventure. This one didn’t pan out quite as well, but still fun.

I was hopping around Barranquilla, Santa Marta, and Minca, not really paying too much attention to dating because match quality on Tinder has been so so and I’m only spending a night or 2 in each spot. I had matched with a girl in Santa Marta who was average looking but seemed cool and is into yoga. We never got around to meeting in SM because she was busy the 1 afternoon I was free. So I forgot about her and moved on to Minca, but she reconnected a couple days later and asked what I was doing and said she was bored.

Minca’s only about an hour bus away so I told her she should come to Minca. To my surprise she agreed, and was on her way 15 minutes later.

After she arrived we walked to some lookout point with a nice panoramic view and had a great chat and then were making out after about 45 minutes. She’s actually super open and was already saying things like “oh we're definitely gonna ****”, “I have a feeling it will be amazing with you”, etc. But she also let on that she’s only seen girls for the last decade or so and has only been with like 3 guys lifetime.

She wanted to get high, so I bought 2 joints for $3 then we went for Dinner. Here’s where things started to deteriorate a bit. She’s kinda annoying when high and was acting pretty clownish. When we finally got back to my hotel room she was super horny and just stripped herself. It ended up being decidedly average. Good in some ways but seems like she isn’t overly into guys, didn’t want to give a BJ, etc.

We ended up having sex once more at night and then again in the morning. Looks wise, I wasn’t overly attracted to her and she has a decent personality but a bit too goofy (even when not high). When you agree to meet an unknown for an overnight stay, you’re taking a big chance and obviously it could have been a lot worse. I’d rate it a 5 out of 10.

I appreciated her frankness. She gave me advice on my Tinder profile and said I looked better in person. She also unabashedly hits on cute women, which is pretty entertaining to watch. No success though unfortunately. So I suppose it ended up being a slightly better night then just spending it by myself, but probably not a girl I’d be interested in pursuing more with.

It seems like girls who take on this "sex-pot" persona are always mediocre at best in the sack. They project the feeling that they get from sex as your equal enjoyment. Plus I think that most women severely overestimate their "sex-game". I've had 4-5 experiences with "pros" that blew away dozens of encounters that I can remember with regular girls or even girlfriends.

Well Colombia is winding down. The last couple days I've been in the Tayrona National Park area, and it's epic. The big cities are so so, but some of the natural areas are just stunning.

Friday I arrive in Lima, and couldn't be more excited. I switched my Tinder location over to Lima, used a Boost, and swiped right on hundreds of women. In about 2 hours I think I got over a hundred matches. It should be no problem going out with a cute girl every night of the week. Dare I say Tinder here is on par with CDMX or possibly a notch better? Colombia has the (well deserved) rep of hot women, but for some reason Tinder absolutely sucks. While CDMX or Lima probably have a fraction of the hot women walking around on the streets, it's not a big deal when you can match with some of the upper tier women easily on Tinder.

From what I hear, Peruvian women are easier to hook up with than Colombianas, so hopefully I'll have more success there. If you discount the hookergf, which wasn't a Tinder hookup, then I'd say Colombia was a bit of disappointment in the women category.
