And that’s what’s weird because she is pretty cute. I guess I’m just wondering what the catch is. Anyways i told her I’m busy tonight which I am so I will update when the other shoe drops on Wednesday. It’s been weird today too though: a lot of “what are you doing?” “Do you want to talk more?” and just overall odd interaction that makes me wonder wtf man.

As said previously, she wants to get laid that is the reason for oddness. She's DTF and needs it ASAP. Make it happen. Meet her at a bar, have a few drinks and ask her if she wants to go "watch a movie" at your place and you won't barely even have to turn on the TV before you're pulling those panties off...

I get that Durango, I am trying to decipher if she is just kind of crazy or like, CRAZY. You don’t seem to think these are major red flags and I’m happy to hear it. Anyway I can’t break plans tonight so Wednesday it is.

Could I have her number? I'm free tonight.

Yep. One thing I have learned in dating is if you have a girl who is DTF, you need to make your move fast. Girls in this mood are impatient. If you wait around, they quickly get bored and move onto the next guy.

Theres an app for that.

If you go on a date and don't respond to a preplanned text, it sends an emergency message to a trusted friend.

You might want to get it...

Assuming that she is willing to meet at a bar, it is unlikely that it is an organ harvesting scheme.

I'm generalizing and doing a whole lot of projecting here, but there's no rush for our hero. She's already decided she's going to f*ck him. He just has to show up now; there's nothing extra he has to do. She's already fantasized about him. She didn't select him via a Bill Clinton "oh I'll just screw whoever's easily available" - she swiped through the huge online singles bar of horny dudes that is Bumble, and she chose hero.

Even if there is another guy in her stable, and suppose she screws that other guy tonight, it's not like she's going to be less horny in 48 hours.

I dunno, I've been in some bar bathrooms that make it still seem possible. Online dating thread

Much more concerning if she were "SF seeking non-drinking, non-smoking, no drugs, physically fit SM 25-34."

That is a clear sign that you will wake up missing a kidney.

Yes . But you should assume all girls are DTF. Because they are.

Not worried about an organ harvesting. Am slightly worried about a “hell hath no fury” situation.

Funny aside, I went out with a girl tonight to an Indian place that literally only played an instrumental version of “my heart will go on”. Yes, the titanic song: Over, and over, and over, until we left. The lamb Rogan josh was good though. Luckily, it’s not a first date so the music doesn’t matter. Thanks for the advice I’ll update in a couple days.

Apparently every girl on bumble is obsessed with tacos. Tacos=the new Oxford comma.

Yea, and everybody pretends to hate Taco Bell now (same with McDonald's, both obviously rule and there's classism at play) and nobody serves ground beef tacos anymore which are mostly the only good ones.

Actually wait, just realized I should update profile that I make [ground beef] tacos frequently, possibly with pics.

Regarding the samuri8 thing, that would freak me out as well. If we didn't have a date already set I wouldn't set one, and I'd be half-ghosting now hoping that she flakes. Interesting that you all read it as simply thirst with no real risk, perhaps I need to open up my range. (I also over-correct for potentially deceptive photos, probably losing out on many matches when the photos aren't clear enough. I have been pleasantly surprised though for sure.)

Well they are, but whether they want to do it with you is another matter entirely. (you in a general sense, not you specifically)

It gets weird towards the end.

How can you guys say she’s thirsty, she’s ****ing crazy. I would be very careful with this one. Huge turn off.

She's fine, she's DTF and like someone else said she chose you as her prey. Sit back and enjoy for the night and then make your decision to see her again. You aren't signing up to get involved in anything with her past the date/sex

A girl who ghosted me on okcupid like five years ago came up on bumble. Was using all the same pics. Pretty unethical imo.

I think you are all missing the main point, which is that he isn't very good at keeping his phone fully charged.

Its possible that she simply stopped using Bumble and never deleted or hid her profile. Bumble's been around since 2011.

I was thinking the same thing. "I have very little to offer, but I am looking for a successful, attractive, interesting, (Insert 5 other desirable adjectives here) man."

What a loser, spending her life savings on a matchmaking service. As someone else pointed out, she did it just to write her book.

But alas this seems to be the way a lot of women think. Average in almost every way and they expect a man who far more successful and attractive than them.

no way. The person knows that they don't look as good as they do in old photos. It's not like this was the early 2000s where you had to take a photo, get it developed and then scan it. Everyone has a smart phone, it could take 2 minutes to update the photos.
