Shorts and a collared shirt isn’t any worse than jeans and a decent tshirt which is basically what I always wear out in Latin American first dates.

I’m in Brazil for like four months with exactly one pair of jeans right now and never travel with more than two pair. It’s a part of traveling for long periods. You plan on laundry and such. CDMX might be a 3-pair city tho as it gets quite cold at night

Was playing poker and the games were actually really good for once, so I didn't leave any time to improvise. Obviously should've just bought something in the last few days though.

Just a canned opener I sent to everyone, something like "This city is too damn big, I've only been here 2 weeks and already gotten lost 3 times." Usually they'll reply back "haha, I've lived here my whole life and still get lost sometimes, where are you from?". I doubt I'd come up with decent openers in Spanish anyway, and there are so many girls, that the canned opener does fine.

I specifically chose an AirBNB with a washer, but then it broke the first time I used it (if it even worked at all). Usually I pack fairly light, about a week's worth of underwear, socks, shirts. 2 pants is plenty for Mexico City b/c it never gets hot, so you don't really sweat. Obviously when I come back for good, I'm bringing way more stuff with me.


Pants girl has been super cool about it. She made a joke about "3rd world problems" and then when I apologized profusely she said "there's nothing to be sorry about". Is she really Mexican? Was kinda expecting her to flip the hell out (and justifiably so in this instance). Before this happened, she was a B-tier girl, but her reaction really impressed me, and now I'm hoping to see her again.

Wherever I lived in Mexico(mainly PDC) I always had a very good and cheap laundry service within a block of me to drop off. I hate folding. Tell the guys TBone said what's up when you go

Yeah I travel everywhere with a 30L backpack only and have a super thin lightweight 22L I stuff down inside for day trips.

It was a good sweat when you only had 1/day, but also painful if you airballed 10+ days in a row

After bungling things with a few girls yesterday I managed to right the ship today. Even though I was 8-tabling, I managed to check in with 6 girls via WhatsApp all the while having my best day profit wise of the year! So now I'm seeing 5 girls over the next 4 days, and may try to squeeze in a 6th.

One "date" is going to a Club América soccer match with 33-year old virgin, to whom I explained that I wasn't interested in seeing seriously, so this will be more like a friends date, but she's a huge Americanista and I'm amped to see Estadio Azteca.

3 of the dates are with girls I'm super excited to see for a 1st date, 2 of which I posted pics of her before (sunglasses girl and the super skinny girl). The 3rd is really cute and petite, also my type, and we probably had the most rapport during messaging of any of the girls.

Also, Sunday museum date with the 40-something girl. I don't really see a serious future with her, but maybe she's just looking for fun.

Pants girl, I'd like to to see and maybe will fit in on Sunday.

After this weekend, I will only have a bit over a week left in Mexico City, so I probably won't do any more 1st dates, but hopefully I'll hit it off with a girl or 2 this weekend and can see them again next week.

Haha, well I've had some pretty solid matches and I can't let the opportunity to meet them slip by, can I? I've slowed down swiping on the apps, so I think Sunday might be my final 1st date for this go round.

Also, I find Mexican women different and intriguing. My first impression is that I like them, a lot. Certainly there are some who grew up richer, living a more western lifestyle, and have developed a bit of the sense of entitlement that goes along with it. But a lot of the girls just seem genuinely sweet and appreciative of small gestures. There's just something feminine about them that I really find attractive. It's a huge difference from French women, and not that I didn't like French women, I met some great ones, but I'm really interested to meet more Mexican women.

What I always thought was that the women are actually the boss in most relationships in Mexican culture, they would sometimes be bossy but the passive ones knew when to step in and take charge when needed.

But I feel that's probably more true than men want to admit,or women let on, in general.

Yah, I felt bad about that. She claims to be a virgin and claims to have never kissed a guy on the 1st date, but we made out on both of the first 2 dates. I knew that I didn't see a LTR in our future though, so I told her. She seemed to take it really well and hasn't let on that she's disappointed. She agreed that we're probably too different and wanted to remain friends.

She's a really sweet girl though. Even though she probably only makes like $2/hour and works part-time she wouldn't even let me pay for her coffee or bottle of water. She finally relented and let me buy her a ticket to a soccer match and I'm really happy to treat her. She's a huge fan and it doesn't sound like she gets many opportunities to go to matches or even leave her neighborhood much.

Azteca is great. Be aware they won’t let you wear a belt in so don’t bring one. Super easy to get to via train or even bus. No need to take an Uber at all. Oh. Also when you get inside people will offer to take you to your seat. They are actual employees and are hustling for tips. You don’t need them but sometimes I let them anyways and throw them 10 pesos or so. The vendors sometimes will hustle you for a little more if you’re obviously a foreigner. Ask your neighbors how much say a beer costs first if you don’t see a sign somewhere.

Virgin girl still might be down to smash. I would at least fire off a heat check kiss or two. What you did sometimes makes Latin women want you even more.
