Next day is fine. It really doesn't matter though. If she's into you she'll be happy she got a text from you, and if not, gg anyway.

This is incorrect. Nye is a night when many people have special plans that they have made weeks or months in advance. Failure to rearrange those for a guy she's recently met isn't a sign that she's not into him. I'd assume half this thread would call a girl a stage five clinger if she asked a guy to hang out nye early in dating with any expectation or pressure on the ask.

LT22 already posted that you should not ask a girl to hangout on NYE or another obv day. One, it shows low value that you don't have plans. Two, she might have plans and just say no. When she says no, it might just be a no to the day, not a no period, but it leaves you in limbo.

Lately my go to has been asking a girl when shes free, then choosing from the days shes free to setup a date that work best for me. I like it because it eliminates the back and forth of No, but what about X day.
