eh, having an okc profile start off with, "Hey, I'm Angela! I work as a paralegal and I'm a sub." doesn't seem explicate to me. Oh well. I'm also naive enough to think that shy modest girls aren't seeking to be tied up.

The shy modest girls are the ones who are looking to me tied up the most

Just got around to reading her message and no wonder she kept visiting my profile.... She sent me a 500 word reply! She had a blank profile aside from her pics and it turns out it's because she is a journalist with somewhat of a public profile (google confirms this). She comes off as a high quality girl though, although a lot of her reply was hitting on things I mentioned in my profile showing that we have a lot in common. Curious to see where this goes.

In other news, finalized details today with tinder girl for date #3 tomorrow and she ended her last text with the stupid euro "x" thing they do...

Also, closed a girl from yesterday who is 5'10.... will be the tallest girl I've gone on a date with yet if she doesn't flake.

I learned of the Euro x thing just this week.

How common is it? Sounds like it's added to the majority of texts?

Only the 2nd time I've ever come across it and I only know about it from reading it on here from the euros.

I put x at end of all my texts, xx and xxx also if I know them better!

What else do you want her to write? You want her to write out a definition? Should she also define paralegal too?

I was admitting that I was being dumb, not the other way around.

Why would you message a girl with nothing filled out in her profile? I always just skip those.

I think she is refering to being a substitute teacher.

Because I have a solid canned message for them. Takes me 5 seconds to send the message, so worth the effort imo.

xx is not Euro, it's British. No other countries in Europe use that abomination.

think im gonna do a first and flake on a girl. we set up the date over the weekend, plan was just to get a drink, and havent heard from her since. usually i confirm in the morning, but wasnt feeling it when i was going to earlier. just wasnt getting a really interesting vibe from her via messages and texts.

plus i had a really nice 2nd date last night with a girl who i get along with really well, so i think thats playing into it too.

the more advance notice, the less of a flake it is. most online flakes i get is within 3 hours of the date, which is by definition a flake. if you tell her a day in advance, or maybe even the morning of, that's not really a flake, but more of a scheduling issue.

let us know the results of your flake. perhaps it's a power move and she'll want you more.

well, we never set a time, it was just a "lets grab a drink after work on wednesday", so its now a few hours beforehand. i havent heard anything from her either, so maybe it is a power move.

Closed this girl today on the 3rd message and going to try to set something up for this weekend. The prospect roster is pretty much full again for now, if I don't run into any flakes/disappearing acts, although I'm really hoping my 3rd date tonight with tinder girl goes well and I can start focusing on less girls.

I actually went through the same thing with skype girl for our 3rd date, but sure enough she texted me 3hours or so before the date asking if we were still on, so I went.

You said she was dry in the previous exchanges...

How about 'Don't worry about it, don't think we would have gotten along all that well anyway, take care'?

Spots like that are where you have to maintain frame, shoot her a quick "gay" and move on to the next plate.

Probably would not use that word with this situation

Go with simply "lame" or "too bad"

Nothing else

The whole "gay" one word thing is the dumbest conversation that's been discussed on the board

I kind of want to try "too bad" as a social experiment. Will report back

If she asks to reschedule wtf is the problem with just rescheduling?

If she says "sorry can't make it today" and that's it... Then "lame" might be more appropriate but I can't see how that's better than just not responding at all

Rescheduling is so beta bro. When you're a real ALPHA they get one chance and one chance only.

No because if you were REALLY ALPHA MAIL you wouldn't worry about seeming beta because you know you're alpha and everyone knows you're alfa
