Problem is Wu's goal is to have a few women on the go regularly (nothing wrong with that), so I think he used the appropriate wording unless of course she is aware of this and is cool with it.

I'll have that conversation with her if necessary, and I'll be honest. But regardless, I achieved the goal of making feel better about herself, which is worth doing even if I never intend to see her again

Agree with you for sure. No reason to be a douche to her like a few of the other posters seem to think is the optimal line. The girl I hooked up with literally a few days before I went exclusive with my current girl I made sure to text her the next day even though I had no plans to see her again. We texted a few times after that and then I just faded out.
