That was my experience with OKC as well. I had my profile up on POF for a week before I took it down because the quality of girls was horrible.

However, it really depends on your area as has been said a million times in the thread. Some cities POF is where it's at.

ATF, here are my thoughts on why you might feel negative feedback on here

first off, let's assume you and all your stories are real, which is a big assumption since they're weird stories and no one here knows you and well, it's the internet.

but your TRs and posts in general really sound like a 15 year old who just discovered both sex and the internet at the same time. the ZOMG YOU GUYS style of your posting sounds more like a blog than a person just posting on a forum.

also, youve said before that you dont have any male friends. this also comes across, because it seems like instead of telling your friends stories/asking advice, you come here instead. but this isn't a life support forum, it's a poker forum that has people asking about/talking about online dating. i think the "seek help" mentality stems not from a 'seek help because your actions are detrimental to your health' (which they might be) but more of a 'seek help because this forum can't be your only source of companionship'.

you can not give a f*** about anything and live YOLO style, but if you dont have a network of support from friends who you're not or ever have been trying to sleep with then you're not gonna survive

3bet was kinda fun for awhile, but then it got lame fast. Uno never got old because he balanced his troll posts with a massive dosage of regular posts and used phrases like Alleyway Alice like it was a perfectly normal thing to do.

Thank you for the feedback. All my stories are entirely true and I write them the way I do to make them entertaining for you guys.

I think the negative feedback manifests from a twinge of jealously. When I was failing epically, the tone was more supportive. Now that I'm experiencing some success, some of it incredible, the tone has become more negative.

Agree. I went on a first date last night. She was boring. Going on date with the girl on Thursday for 4th time. If things don't work with her, she will be the last online date I go on for a while. I don't have the energy to devote until after tax season and possibly until mid-summer when I'm done with my exams.

I don't think doing this sort of thing is juvenile. But feeling the need to describe every detail on an internet forum is definitely juvenile. And this isn't your personal blog where you should be posting everything that goes on in your day to day life. It is for asking for or giving advice on internet dating. Now, a lot of this will involve relating stories about internet dates. But the stuff you are posting recently is pretty clearly off topic, in additional to reflecting poorly on you.

Seeing anyone's phone at 10% makes me vicariously anxious. I want to scream, "For god's sake, quit worrying about this girl and find a charger!"
