Been talking to a girl for about a week and I'm not totally sure how to proceed as I'm new to online dating. We've exchanged like 8-10 messages, she responds every time she logs in but her responses are generally pretty straightforward and doesn't come back with much to help the flow of the conversation (she appears to always respond from the phone app though so that may be contributing to the shorter responses). I brought up grabbing a drink and went for the number a couple messages ago and she said that we haven't been talking that long so it's a bit soon. She's pretty cute and we share a lot of the same interests so I don't mind waiting til she feels a more reasonable amount of time has passed, but it feels like she just may be one of those girls that is super careful about meeting up with people. I blew off a drinks date for tonight with a POF girl yesterday because I just wasn't feeling it.
