If you're not interested in text/chat buddies and the reason you're doing this is to actually meet people, then yes, drop them. They're either not really wanting to meet anyone or just not into you.

wutangpoker: Wash your face religiously and the acne will probably subside. If it doesn't try the stuff Jennitron posted. If that doesn't work either see a dermatologist.

I agree. Even if you can convince them to meet, they're going to be on guard all night. I haven't had any positive experiences with girls like that. They just aren't fun on a date.

Turns out I'm going to go over to a girl I met online's dorm with beer. I've already slept with her, so I'm less worried about the acne

that feel when you're a bit tipsy and spamming messages and only the ugly chick responds.

There's one guy I went to school with my freshman year who is, I swear to god, friends with more than 50% of the girls I see on tinder. He lives an hour north too. Is he that monumental of a player?

back when I was at school FB was still new (back then you had to have a university email address from certain colleges), and there was a guy with, what seemed at the time an absurd number of facebook friends. he was our student body president and everyone loved him, but i wouldn't call him a player.

She showed up 45 minutes late after first driving to the wrong World of Beer. Looked like her pics. She had pretty big boobs and was showing cleavage which was hot/distracting and helped me to forgive her.

She's in a sorority AND a marketing major which I tease her about a little. Little ditzy. She kinda reminds me of bedwetting girl in terms of voice, mannerisms, self-described study/sleep habits.

She orders a glass of wine at World of Beer. Seems wrong, women tho. She only wanted one and thanked me multiple times for it. I expect to pay but it was nice she seemed so appreciative.

Pretty good convo wasn't 100% sure where I stood but had her laughing a bit. Shared some stories. Told her I was a new kid with an eye patch in kindergarten and I had to be in my own reading group. She said she would have been my friend. At one point she said I was "real" after I said I'd be better as something nerdy in the army than anything else.

I tried to escalate a little. She didn't seem to mind but didn't reciprocate much. We were touching legs on and off(sitting next to each other at the bar). Not quite sure where I stood.

We stayed almost til close and walked out to the parking lot. I faced her, put my hands on her forearms and confessed I was moving soon and said "I understand if you don't want to see me anymore." She said " I do want to see you again. It's ok. Everything happens for a reason." and moved in and put her hands on my arms. Mine slid into her hips and it seemed like the ultimate green light so I went in for the makeout.

We weren't that good at it but it was fun. She didn't mind my hands on her ass during the makeout, a key characteristic of a match for me. She had a nice ass but I couldn't find a smooth way to tell her. She said I should come to (cheap college-y place with pool and games) with her sometime.

She texted me at 2AM

Girls are so sensitive about having a nice or ugly ass, and many with nice asses think they have bad ones.

So?

I have a very simple policy on compliments: Never give them as an open, and otherwise give them only when they're genuinely merited. If she has a nice ass then "you have a nice ass" is a perfectly valid thing to say and will not be poorly received unless you've comically misread the situation.

Update on my Match Mixer TR:

Texted OC that night that it was great meeting her, will call her tomorrow after we're both out of work. Called her Thursday night, left voicemail just saying hello, give me call back whenever so we can plan out dinner for Saturday night (which she proposed when I met her).

Never heard back from her.

And in true Burdz fashion, since she had me google her on my phone at the bar, I decided to check her FB profile sometime on Friday, and noticed she had 70+ mutual friends of a close poet/professor friend of mine. I told her about it, she FB-stalked and friend-requested OC for kicks, and OC insta-accepted her.

In conclusion,

Spoiler:

How do you find out how many facebook friends two people who are not you share? If it isnt an easily available statistic, that seems creepy.

Are you hot enough to appear at least in magazine ads, if not on the cover?

If not, you'll have to settle for unattractive but tolerable single moms who are down to ****.

Under "People You May Know" on the Friends tab. The same as what a 3rd-connection is on LinkedIn.
