But... you just had to get the Asian girl bamboo. I could see that giving off some weird signals.

US presence in Asia during wartime resulted in many much of our early interactions with Asians were by killing the men and paying the women for sex. The GIs come home and carry on those thoughts and it bled into the American culture.

Huge reason why the men aren't as easily embraced and the women are viewed more sexually than otherwise. Some women are acutely aware of this and buying something like bamboo could trigger it all to the surface.

But otherwise, I'm thinking that's unrelated here. I think saying you got a gift definitely freaked her out because she may have thought it signaled you wanted more and you're likely her side piece.

Depends on whether you’d find it inappropriate for a woman to disagree with your religious beliefs. I don’t think the discourse in this thread has been as much slut-shaming as it has been hypocrisy, or at least the application of a double-standard.

This is just absurd. You're not just being idiots but total hypocrites as well. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. That or send out invites to the gang bang.

I think a post-marriage gang bang is wholly different from a pre-relationship one.

Or, that their s/o liked to line up strangers off of the internet for an occasional 7-on-1 **** fest.

If you're interested in someone as exclusive relationship material, you should be laying down the line of exclusivity.

But I completely understand those who are about that cuck-life. To each its own, I guess.

Unless and until there’s a conversation about exclusivity, that standard should apply equally to both men and women. I’m not suggesting necessarily that you disagree with this idea, but maybe you do.

It's fine for a woman or a man to disagree with my (lack of) religious beliefs, but I likely wouldn't be a good match for someone who is religious. Likewise, I probably wouldn't be a good match for someone who has been in "the lifestyle" or considers themselves polyamorous, even if she were ready for an exclusive relationship.

I don't see any hipocrisy or double standard here, and I really haven't seen it much in the thread either. I think some of you must be making some invalid assumptions here.

I find either one pretty extreme, and I likely would not share similar values with either a man or a woman who participated in one. Since I'm not looking for a relationship with a man though, that side is not particularly relevant to my decisions about who to date.

Interesting week for me.

Talked to two women who want to hookup.

But they're married.

Probably going to be a dirtbag and do it.

Married and 40 for the win.

So I decided to use a photo for bumble to verify the account. It asks you to take a photo like the example guy used, with a thumbs up. I copy the guy's pose exactly, with a plain white backdrop, and get a message back saying my photo violates the terms.

Lol.

I have a photo of me doing a handstand next to a pool that gets flagged for nudity 75% of the time I try to put it on bumble. Pretty sure they are using bots

Married to each other or separately? If you follow through, please report back for science.

Lol

About a year ago I had a July 4th pic where one of my friends was holding a sparkler. Bumble flagged it because the bot/whatever thought someone was holding a gun (and that's how I learned they have a "no guns in pics" policy).

Being the "tall guy" paid off. Met up with this girl, probably my most attractive date since I returned to CDMX in May. She's 5'10" (super tall for a Mexicana) and she told me she set her filter at 184cm and above, which is about 6'. I'm actually a tad under that but list my height at 184, so apparently I barely beat her filter. She also said she's dated guys from USA and Holland so I think I got pretty lucky here that I happen to be her type.

Had a first date tonight and it went pretty well. Convo flowed easily and I got her talking a lot. It was pretty brief though at 90 minutes and not very flirty and didn't end with a kiss, but I don't stress too much about that. I figure a first date that just ends up being a meet and greet to see what the girl's like isn't the end of the world and if she agrees to a 2nd date, it's easy to ramp up the physicality then.

Best single piece of wisdom in the thread IMO. Girls love it, and it’s been proven in my experience to resuscitate conversations at a startling success rate.

Credit is to lazer (who unfortunately doesn’t post anymore).

Thanks everyone for the help. I followed up a chat with “Too Early? No worries. (Insert question here)” and it worked! Going on a date this Saturday.

Randomly came across this visualization of a prostitute on tinder

Spoiler:

And in the comments there was a long to this Twitter thread

https://twitter.com/psychoschmitt/st...700800?lang=en

It has a number of different interesting studies and what not in it. For example, just holding a guitar in a picture makes you significantly more attractive. Mostly common sense, but charts make my dick hard

Not as attractive as holding a chart.
