The food is better than average and a bit more authentic than average too. It’s a bustling, crowded scene.

It is not strange to take a casual date there imo, but it seems pretty dumb if you are trying to be on the dl.
Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I wasn't really questioning the part about it trying to be on the dl. That's just idiotic and of course there is no explaining that.

You probably have a better selection of Mexican places in your neck of the woods. We have one that we take the kids to on occasion. Quality of food is fine, but not stellar. If we time it right, we can get in and out fast and there is stuff there that they will actually eat.

There are plenty of couples who dine there, but they are using it as more of a place to eat than a place to go on a date. Probably a meaningless distinction on my part though. But when you described her as being all over him, it sounded like they were shooting more for a date than just somewhere to eat dinner.

I imagine everyone over the age of 8 who is physically able can ride a bicycle.

In context I took the “all over him “ assessment to be relative to a platonic dinner, not relative to a standard romantic date.

Lapka,

A good troll never admits to being a troll. See Diablo, El.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he wasn’t trolling

Definitely not. I know personally adults who can't ride a bicycle.

First googling result indicates that about 6 % of adult Americans can't ride a bicycle.
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features...o-ride-a-bike/

+ HT is in the age group that according to this statistic has the least to do with bicycles

https://www.statista.com/statistics/...ke-riders-usa/

Some surveys on UK show that about 10% of the population can't ride a bicycle.

I am learning.

Why do I so rarely hear talk of putting a common sense bicycle/cyclist tax in place? They have been getting a free ride for far too long.

Good god, if you so much as said “bicycle” to this guy, he’s start telling you about all the hilly centuries he’s done.

A Mexican place that you can both bring your kids to and your mistress must ****ing print money.
07-30-2018 , 06:06 PM
I am kinda tempted to include that in a yelp review for them.

Indeed. Also probably bumps up the chances that it's an open/consensual/willful ignorance situation (as opposed to a true effort to keep things hush-hush) a couple percentage points.

You know, the further we get from the situation the surer I am that my wife needs to keep her mouth shut about it. I was just reminded about another incident where she spotted someone we knew as we ate in a different Mexican restaurant in the Ferry Building in SF., and it kind of indicts her credibility a bit.

We are out on the patio and she sees someone behind me who is walking toward her and exclaims "Hey! That is my high school science teacher!"

I turn to look and it is Al Gore. I give my head a shake to make sure I am not seeing things, and nope, it is for sure Al Gore walking along and talking to a woman.

When I tell her that is Al Gore she says "Oh really? Everyone always said my science teacher looks like Al Gore...."

A quick Bing search later confirmed he was in town for something.

Johnny,

You work for Microsoft? A lot of free ads for Bing going on itt.

Awesome LOL story about your wife recognizing Al Gore but not as Al Gore whatsoever. Amazing she was surer it was her HS teacher that looked like a public figure than the figure himself.
07-30-2018 , 07:06 PM
Whoa, someone fell for that story? I knew it wasn't real as soon as he said someone used Bing. (Still a fun story though.)
07-30-2018 , 07:09 PM
That is 100% a true story, except for the Bing part.
07-30-2018 , 08:24 PM
Johnny, which one of your kid's friends saw you? Did she end up telling your wife??

On a serious note, in regard to the Al Gore story, are you saying that now you're not sure if your wife even actually saw the person she thinks she did?
07-30-2018 , 08:43 PM
So your wife saw Al Gore with his Mexican mistress, and you're wondering if you should tell Tipper?

Mistress's immigration status?

Wife training 101!

Howard,

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed to find out you don't travel w/ noise canceling headphones. Travel 101.

Del Tots ‘n Hoes doesn’t sound very Mexican imo.

Could HT ride a bike before he stated that here? For the majority of the posters it was just not there as a characteristic of HT. Or more general how real is the picture we have here from any given poster.....
I always imagine lbr wearing a long pink frilly negligee/coat thingy. I'm not totally sure this is how he wanted to portray himself.

I always wonder with all guys having a hot girl for avatar if they want to be seen like a hot girl. And I find it totally confusing if people change they avatars. It is like I am talking to someone completely different.

My mental image of lbr is him running into the woods to take a **** while the convoy moves on ahead without him as his truck idles on the side of the road.

No? Just me?
