Starting to sound like a Voss guy to me

DOGS - you are looking at the situation from grando1.0's confirmed sex dungeon populating POV, you need to give it a glance from the POV of his victims. Check your privilege.

Rexx - You just stole my ability to make a blacklist joke at HT's expense with your inferior one. Hope you're happy.

grando1.0 - I would have accepted the delicious lemonade, gluten-free roofies or no. Also here's a tipping pro tip - when tipping more than one person with a single note, make sure all are present so they can argue over dividing it up it later instead of the boring result of one just pocketing it and claiming there was no tip.

They did take a $20 tip though

Actually the exchange went like this (I had to sign some form with the guy that did zero work while the other one who put everything together took the boxes to the truck):

"This is for you guys - sorry I don't have change" (handing him a $20)

"Oh that's alright - he got the last one"

Lol sweet scame

Is $20 even enough for a vial of crack these days?
07-29-2018 , 04:39 AM
On reddit there was a thread about how even though mail/UPS etc guys usually bring lots of water and drinks on their route they still think it's the nicest gesture ever to get offered a cold drink and it absolutely brightens their day.

Also if $20 doesn't even buy a full vial of crack these days, they can learn to split one.

Yeah, in real life you say, "No thanks." and the only person that dwells on it is the guy trying to roofie you. You don't think about it until you see a post on Reddit and tell everyone it was a huge feel good moment for karma.

The windshield washer on my car got super weak and the ugly ass tree beside my driveway is dropping all kinds of sap and stuff on it. I don’t drive it much so I keep forgetting to do anything about it until I take it out and the sun hits the dust film and I can’t see ****. I was also kinda dreading having pay some obscene amount of cash to a mechanic for a really dumb repair like replacing a tiny squirt gun pump.

I just Binged how to troubleshoot it and fixed it in two steps and ten minutes by blowing compressed air down the little tube! I don’t know why, but little repairs like that—especially when they are super easy—are one of my greatest joys in life. I think the last time I was this happy was when my son was born.

My wife has come into possession of a bottle of Glenlivet - The Code. Neither of us is a whisky drinker, but I opened it to play the game with my unsophisticated palate and scored 9% on my first attempt lol.

Binging The Code right now.

Alright you convinced me, getting a bottle of The Glen tonight

How can you all drink whiskey! I tried it few times in my life and it smells like nail polish removal. Bjaaaaa!
07-30-2018 , 01:48 AM
You have to add a little water. It unlocks the magic
07-30-2018 , 01:49 AM
Lapka, for some reason I would have assumed you to be a whiskey fan. It’s a taste worth acquiring imo.
07-30-2018 , 01:49 AM
I thought Glen was Scotch
07-30-2018 , 01:51 AM
You should Bing scotch, BH.

Whiskey is gross. I'm going to have to hand in my Scottish ancestry card now. Oh yes and before everyone tells me I haven't tasted a good whiskey, I assure you I have had multiple excellent whiskeys foisted on me where I take a sip and instantly wrinkle my nose. Having said that I always thought I hated port but changed my tune.

Whisky is actually pretty good, although I admit it is something of an acquired taste.

Solid to top shelf scotch in particular is just the easiest IMO to drink neat or nearly neat.

In America among businessmen Scotch is the preferred drink (just watch TV and Movies LDO). On a slightly more serious note there is a certain level of status that’s sort of brought by having a solid scotch to offer a client or colleague in your office.

Before I moved to Hollywood I lived in Mesa, AZ for a few months after college working for a friend of my Dads at a construction company (door installs + summer + Phoenix/Mesa = serious water weight lost). On my last day before I moved he called me into his office and shared a glass of McCallen 12 neat with me and wished me luck in Los Angeles and gave me some man to man advice he valued and some small business advice I use to this day.

That’s one of the most cherished moments of my adult life; when a man I highly respected and worked hard for poured me a glass of expensive Scotch and taught me some of his business knowledge. It’s why I keep a $125 bottle of scotch in my office that’s specially for my Dad, that Mentor and few others.

Lapka and Rexx,

Listen to Howard, he knows of which he speaks.

Your Friend,
Nate

Nice story nat

H2a: I like my whiskey with a bit of water too, otherwise it is often too strong to enjoy the taste.

Amsterdam confirmed awesome. However: “due to union concerns, security will be slower than normal.” Fcuk.

Dearest OOT,

There is no ‘e’ in whisky.

Faithfully yours,

Si

Hmmm.

Si,

El D and I have had this debate. The “e” is optional and both uses are acceptable, or so I understand.

I profess no particular expertise.

Your Friend

Sticking with my "e"
