Holy mother of god. it so surpassed all my expectations. The price point is high - $32 - and it's only about 15 minutes long which sounds like a ripoff but what you get is crazy.

They fit you with a strap on backpack/vest type of thing and a headset. It was a little blurry and uncomfortable with my glasses on but it got better.

Basically everything you can touch in the "game" or whatever (I did the star wars one) has an actual surface you can touch in reality. When you touch a rail there's a rail there. When you step outside on the lava planet, you can feel the heat pounding you. You step on a repulsor lift kind of thing and you can feel it moving underneath you. When you're in the space shuttle, you can feel it moving around. They went all out. At one point later on, there's an R2 unit inside a room with you and I touched it and it was actually ****ing there. It's unbelievable.

You get some blasters at some point and do some fun little mini games/fights with stormtroopers and a few "boss" encounters. Story was meh but it really was about the experience. The graphics were superb. I really felt like I was there. The hands were a little glitchy - that's my only complaint. my client froze up on me one time for a few seconds but it didn't ruin the immersion that much.

15/10 would do again. There's also a location in Vegas I guess. They have a few other stories too, one horror one and a ghostbusters one.
Awesome review! I've been thinking about doing this. Will def go now.

Wanna go again and stay overnight and share a room and get OOT to pitch in? 😜

Doesn’t change who you are.

You seem overly defensive about it.

Perhaps you can get yourself a little VR outfit for Christmas to help you relive your glory days but pretending you're driving a really, really big boat. It doesn't even have to be a 'Murican boat.

god damn it howard

There is no "may" about this, you have to go, that's an order. Hopefully they will have either the cherry or blackberry apertiff sake for you as well, not that you deserve it. Get the full omakase. No half measures. Sit at the bar. Not that there will be any open tables during the WSOP anyway.

But don't tell me if they had triangle on the menu, not sure I could take that.

sweet black baby jesus have I ever in my entire ****ing life had a bite of food better than the triangle at Kabuto

let us go go go

Howard,

In my humble opinion you have put in some long, hard hours at the felt and deserve a solid meal. I respect Chopstick's opinion on food and that is enough for me to second his ORDER that you go to Kabuto this evening.

Have fun!

Yeah if there's one thing old men like it's giant snails. Also it sounds like a lot of boys have already kissed her first.

Fcuk. Kabuto is closed for the Fourth.

Secondary suggestions?

The latest spiderdog indignity.

Happy 4th

Spiderdog loves his country!

Spiderdog is going to hate his country once one of those balloons pops! Super cute though and he looks really pleased with himself

Howard,

Why don't you take your scalding hot take-down of jmakin to the politics forum?

Oh nm it's closed
07-04-2018 , 09:54 PM
I can't believe the restraint Howard is showing. Fabian is a poor student now, he needs that $100! Plus I want to see a Jmakin takedown

Don’t worry howard, it’s a free country (if you’re white) with freedom of speech, these euro and aussie commies wouldnt understand! Let loose!

jmakin,

We prefer the term dirty socialists.

I spent the day at an Encore cabana and am far to chill at the moment to explain the error of jmakin’s ways.
07-05-2018 , 12:21 AM
Im quite sure the shoes were removed!
07-05-2018 , 04:42 AM
Howard,

There is obviously no error in jmakin's ways (in this case), you weirdo.

Absolutely nothing wrong with "his views" about the 4th of July, and spending two posts pointing out how wrong he is is pretty weird, especially on a year where there's so little to be proud of. I will assume you were drunk at the time

Happy hangover day!

IIRC we were the first ones to recognize you rebels as an independent country.

Sacre bleu! Didn't realize you were French, GMLAW!

GL today Howard. Later, if Kabuto doesn't work out for some reason, Raku is also quite good. And Monzu has some of the best gourmet pizza I've had.

Chop, what is "triangle"? A special cut of fatty tuna?

Small muscle under the dorsal fin...at least that's what we were told at Yui
