I get up at a slightly different time each morning depending on the workout so would have to adjust it nightly. The obvious attractive thing about this (if it works) is being able to get up 5-30 minutes earlier than I normally do and yet being as or more rested. That's effectively free time.

As noted, just set an alternate / backup alarm. I do that anyway, too many times in the past have I been burned using only one.
