I always upgrade every 2 years, so you own the phone and get trade in value. For example traded in my 12 Pro Max for the new Pro Max this month and got $525 trade in value.

Amazing, I have a 6s+ and it's unusable. Battery dies quick, slow af.

Bought a 13pro max, charge it every other day.

The 13 Pro Max was peak iPhone imo.

The 14 Pro's are getting some criticism this year that I haven't see towards Apple phones in a long time. I have the 13 PM and preordered the 14 PM but cancelled it after seeing some of the reviews. I think Apple is slipping a bit with Jony Ive gone.

I've been on the upgrade program for like 5 years now I think? 1 year less than its been around. But this was the first year I skipped. Partly because I wanna give my 13PM to the wife next year when its paid off (She's still ok with using a 6 plus somehow lol) but also because it seemed like such a small upgrade. I don't really care about the island, but the better camera and slightly better battery were tempting though.

Hopefully next year they do some nice upgrades.
