She has one video that is 7 min, the other 34 are under 30 sec. How much space does a 7 min video take up?

You can browse the camera roll and remove all mystery if you plug the phone into a computer. If that's an option.

Thinking of getting a 5 and was curious how it performs when jailbroken. My jailbroken 4 was sluggish, so I ended up going back to a stock OS. But now the phone is just slow in general because of iOS 7 so I'm upgrading.

When I transferred everything from my previous IPhone to my 5s, all my songs moved over fine. When I did a new update a few months ago, all my non bought songs stopped working. Is there an easy fix to this, I don't have these songs on a computer anymore, I think they may be on my google cloud though.

Also I shattered my screen last week, the local kid wants $170 to fix it, does that sound right?

If speed is an issue just get a 5s.

I was planning on buying a 5 (going for ~250 on ebay), and then selling it and getting a subsidized 6 in September for 200. If I get the 5s now I'm stuck with it for 2 years.

A guy in market place is buying broken iPhone 5 for $300

It was both phones. New phone and no charging issues at all.

My jailbroken 5 has been great. Not sluggish in the slightest.

Wrt the smashed screen- I would just take it to Apple and get a replacement iPhone for whatever it is they charge in the US (~$220 maybe), if your local guy is charging $170.

I've only been looking at Sprint iPhones the past 2 days but the range is 225-275 generally. Some top out over 300 (saw one go for 415) but the mean is probably about 250. All are respectable to mint condition. Many have a buy it now option for 300, so I don't know what the chuckleheads in the $415 auction were thinking.

Abe,

thanks, dude. Good to hear.

I have a mophie battery charging case but haven't really used it. Was told it would destroy my battery, how true? Also if I need to get a new case, any recommendations?

Take it to an apple store and they'll fix it for you in five minutes. Don't try to clean it out yourself, though, as it is apparently very easy to damage the internals.
Started happening to me and I took this advice and it worked perfectly. Just made a Genius Bar appointment and the guy fixed it very quickly. Phone now charges

You get use to it.

Once you enable it in the field test settings tap the signal bit and it'll change to the number part. While getting use to it and the different numbers you can tap between it to see how inaccurate the signal bar meter really is.
Just curious you said the lower the better and link says the closer to zero the better. So which is it?

-100 is worse than -63 with -0 being perfect.

The highest you actually ever see is about -45. Fun fact, this is measured in dBm, so -70 is twice as strong of a signal as -73. Yay log scale.

yeaaaaaaaaaaa. They need a happy medium between 5 bars and uh. that. for when I don't have my log scale with me.

Letter grades yo. If the highest possible is -45 then just call it an A+

is there a link to one of these scales?

Also, maybe because I have a 5s, but I can't toggle between the numbers and bars.

Meh. It's not really complicated or important.

-50 is stronger than -60 is stronger than -70 is stronger than -80.

Anyone else having issues w the 5c? My girlfriends case keeps coming loose from the screen in the corner. This is her 3rd phone and it's doing it again. This time, it looks like it's slightly melted.

She is not rough on her phone and takes care of it. This happens with multiple cases or no case.

I can't figure it out.

Had a strange experience. Here in Arizona we don't observe daylight saving time so our clocks never change. My 8:30 alarm went off, I got up, dressed, then looked at the clock on the microwave and it was a little after 7:30. Looked back at my phone and it had changed the time back. What the?

So I got trolled by my phone and got out of bed, then it said "lulz I jk noob!"

It was like it moved the clock forward before remembering oh yeah we don't do that **** my bad.
