The wool. I can’t stand it. Makes me itchy and irritates my skin.

You sound mildly allergic to wool.

Much like the rest of humanity.

What’s with the ambiguity around here tonight?

Can anyone recommend a cheapish e-reader that does a reasonable job with PDFs? I'm going to be camping on a remote island with no electricity for over a week so decent battery life is a must.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Let's not be rash about this, it is a problem for some.

Man this place really loves to break out the puns. A real hive mind.

Yeah. That really rubs me the wrong way.

Nobody is allergic to wool. Wake up sheeple!

just get a kindle paperwhite, those things are awesome and cheap. Thats assuming you have the tech ability to get PDFs on them. If thats not something youll be able to do, then I dunno. Im not a fan of any other ereaders, so cant offer a suggestion

ime, PDFs suck on e-readers, and PDFs converted to ePub are unreadable. I think you need a tablet, or a tablet-sized e-reader (min 9.7" vs standard 6" screen), which probably costs as much or more than a cheap tablet.

You can just e-mail PDFs to the Paperwhite. Generally translates fine.

Once again, Howard is trying to pull the wool over their eyes.
