If someone described the premise of that show, they would be forced to then go into a whole thing where they say, "I know that sounds ****ing stupid, I know, just trust me that the show works."
Pretty much this.
The show is a comedy yet (so much) more.
Premise: Small-time football coach Ted Lasso is hired to coach a professional soccer team in England, despite having no experience coaching soccer.

Also I was going to go join the OOTV thread, but then the damn thing had the claim of "best show ever" in the OP for some reason, so I closed my laptop and then threw it into a wall as hard as I could.
You can probably write the cost of your laptop off.

Really looking forward to Lasso btw, it's just streaming service overload that's kept me away.
Yeah I bought an iPad some months back and with it I got a year free of Apple TV. So I didn't renew Netflix and with my spare time I've just been watching that. Netflix still e-mails me a minimum of 3 times a week saying I should come back and how it'll be the best $8.99 I've ever spent or some ****. Get bent Netflix. I'll come back when I want to.
