I think I'm going as an iPod commercial. dress in all black, dye hair black, paint face/hands black. Wear an iPod, dance around.

What year does it become acceptable to do Joker again?

they're not compiled yet, but myself, two roomates and a friend of ours are going as mario, luigi, peach and toad

should give us an upper hand over all the other mario/luigi combos out there who won't have a peach or a toad. the roommate who is peach has long hair and a beard, but he's a really tiny guy so it works

fwiw i'm toad. bought the smallest bluejean vest and big white (but not long enough) baggy pants to go with my flip-flops, and have been making the mushroom head from scratch, out of styrofoam. has been very messy. hopefully i will post a picture later, the mushroom shape is made, just have to paint the red dots on it

if we're all seen together though as a group, should make for a couple very entertaining nights. imo couple or group coordinated costumes, if done right, look the best

I'm going as Duffman. Spray painted the gloves and boots today, gotta make the belt tomorrow and put the labels on everything.

If you're going to go as The Joker, you gotta go as the Cesar Romero version. Or Jack Nicholson. Or possibly Mark Hamill.

No, this year you have to do Ledger. You don't have to do the nurse or the suit exactly as depicted in Dark Knight, but you have to be Ledger's Joker in spirit, even if it's in a Ronald McDonald costume. Face needs to be painted the Ledger way. If you try to get fancy and do Caesar Romero you're going to look like a ****ing ******* - more of a loser than the thousand plain-jane Ledger Jokers. Sorry but that's just the way it is this year. Next year, go all out.

Deffinitely the Nurse....

This is possibly worse than the regular version if the regular version were done with effort. A few weeks ago I thought I could do this and be original, but if you do a Google search you'll see that everybody else has the same idea. There's even been articles about being Nurse Joker on major sites like Rotten Tomatoes. Pretty lame.

I dressed up as a clown in a disco suit for my friends halloween party last week. Unfortunately I screwed up on the facepaint a little because I didnt know you couldn't paint other colors over white. So that's why my red is a little pink. I took one photo of myself with my PC and I didn't take any photos at the party (ya idk).

super meh but i suck at this stuff and need a costume where i can
-ride a party bus comfortably
-go into a club and potentially dance (so bulky ****, things i have to carry are out)
-get girlies (so anything super lame or confusing or awkward is prob bad)

ideas? i was thinking of going as Mac from Always SUnny (have the same features/build, hair/shave to look like him, sleeveless shirt, draw on the tats) and call everyone bro all night long, but dont think enough peoepl would get it. i could, similarly, go as johny chase from entourage, but that's probably lame and not everyone would get that either.

Would Tobias Funke (bald cap, moustache, glasses, cutoffs, blue makeup) be lame or alright? I've never seen anybody go as him, but I'm sure it's been done a million times. I'm not looking for a great costume, just something that's not really played out. I'm going to a party Friday so Green Man is out.
