I would think Hunter would be better as not too many people are going to recognize Dr. Gonzo (though I have love for the brown buffalo).

I was thinking Ron Burgundy, if you could track down a Red Blazer, fake mustache, and some leather bound books, of course

Bump.

A couple years ago I went as gum stuck under a shoe.

Pink shirt, pink pants, face painted pink, etc. With a sneaker affixed atop my head.

Also telling any drunk/horny girl I don't think you're good enough to put your hands on my crotch or something to that effect is like a **** challenege to them or something. It makes them crazy.
I remember there being someone dressed as a Plinko board at a party I went to. Huge hit.Leave the prizes blank so you can turn what they win into some kind of pick-up line/flirtation.

As some of you know, I'm a weatherman, and I'm gonna try something on the air this year...

I'm gonna wear a green bodysuit, and just wear a hat, sunglasses, and gloves on top of it. So the idea is that I'll be invisible except for the hat/gloves/shades.

I'll post the link to the video on the web if it goes down.

Lohan and Ronson I think.

Is it too early to do a burned up Barker and AM?

Awesome idea. After work, you can just head to any and all Halloween parties without even having to change!!!

Wife and I are going as:

I didn't get the official shirts, but got a maroon t-shirt, some sweatbands, some women's XL running shorts (have to shorten them even some). The only question is if I actually shave my legs. I'm leaning towards yes. My legs are quite hairy, so it wouldn't work well otherwise. Shouldn't take long to regrow.

My wife has the jeans, a skirt to wear over them, a shirt to wear with a pillow underneath, a hoodie, and some chucks.

A friend of mine and I went as Duke and Gonzo a few years ago. He's a dead ringer for HST when you put him in the hate and aviators and give him a cigarette holder. I just went with shades and an unbuttoned shirt (and may have poured beer on myself to facilitate the tanning process).

I was thinking about going as Frank Booth this year, but I think people may not get it and/or women will be completely terrified by me.

No one would get Frank Booth. While I like costumes for your own enjoyment one of the main points of Halloween is having chicks come up to you and be like omg great costume time to make out

Yeah, of course. As much fun as yelling "BABY WANTS TO **** BLUE VELVET!" and "IT'S DADDY, ****HEAD!" might be, it's definitely frightening.

OTOH, if a girl did get the Frank Booth costume and was like "omg great costume time to make out," I might have to marry her.

4 years ago during the 2004 election I went as a young Republican. I live in West Hollywood/Los Angeles where everyone is liberal, it basically goes without saying. So like 99.8% of the people at the parties I went to were Kerry voters, as was I of course. I dressed up in a blue blazer, khaki pants, red tie, loafers, and wore a bunch of Bush/Cheney pins and stickers on my jacket.

For some reason, election fervor was so great that everyone thought I was actually a Republican. I was like, WHAAAAT? It's Halloween, every single other person here is in a costume, why wouldn't you assume I'm in a costume too? It's supposed to be scary, and this sh*t is scary! But nevertheless, all night people were like "Is that a costume or is it real?" Man, my people are ******ed.

So yeah, I nixed the idea of going as a dumb-ass McCain/Palin supporter and instead went with the Catholic priest costume from the other thread.
