Not these officers. The police. Who are one unit. They defend themselves no matter what. Just like that police officer that comes on scene at the hospital and says the nurse should have allowed the blood draw and leave it up to the courts to determine if it was legally permitted. There was no discipline of this cop even though they had the body camera showing that what he did was egregious.
Now the conspiracy that is the reason they went bezerko on her in a matter of minutes when she was extremely courteous...it seems there was a lot of urgency.
The other conspiracy, which could be true, is that they were trying to protect the truck driver (as they wrote in the report.) And that could be because he was a reserve sherif officer. I don't know if they had any idea of who he was at the hospital though. And I don't think they would risk the fall-out of a dubious arrest that was being filmed to help a random reserve officer from a different state. I think they were protecting their own.
I just don't think this officer acts like this every time where he got orders to arrest the nurse regardless of what she said. Odd.
