LFS,

I'm sure everyone here is anxiously awaiting dishwasher updates, but last night my dishwasher decided to just keep the hot water fill valve open the entire time it was running, dumping around 10 gallons of water onto hardwood floors and ceiling drywall before we noticed. So I'm particularly interested to hear how Bosch treats you.

But some definitions are hard for me to imagine, how exactly does that work.

"retrobate=When you want to masturbate but you are so lazy that you masturbate yesterday Instead."

“Retrobate”: when you masturbate thinking about yesterday’s masturbation session

OUCH. That's insurance claim territory. My water heater died and disgorged 50 gallons of hot water a few weeks ago, but that was in my basement which is all concrete floors and walls, so the damage was relatively minimal. Good luck with your situation, that sucks a big one.

Yup. My cousin's water heater died last year and flooded his hardwood family room. Insurance had them rip out and replace all the hardwood and the surrounding drywall up 18" from the floor. About a $10k job.

Not dishwasher related, but I just had a backup in the main sewage line of my building and had **** water fill up both bathtubs and spill over the toilet in the master bedroom. Flooded the bathroom and part of the bedroom.
Looked something like this, taken at ~10 minute intervals:

And it just got worse from there.
Happened almost 2 weeks ago and my bathroom walls and floor are still ripped out as we wait for the HOA to approve the reconstruction company's final estimate.
I guess it could've been worse though. The guy next to me doesn't have tubs so everything spilled over the lip of his walk-in showers and flooded his entire unit. Ouch.

probably plugged full of wet wipes and jizz!

Close...
Wipes and giant wads of paper towels is what the plumbing supervisor told me, as he eyed my 2 year suspiciously. I made it clear that we absolutely DO NOT flush anything like, and the kid is potty trained anyway so its not like we even use wipes in the bathroom.

This is the third (and worst) incident like this in the past year.
Not coincidentally, the *******s upstairs have a baby who just turned a year old.
**** being poor and living in a first level condo!

Having inaugural Montreal smoked meat sandwich and poutine at Augie’s in Berkeley based on kenji Twitter rec and it’s pretty damned good even if it’s killing me a little (or a lot?)

I have an item that I use in the kitchen infrequently. It is expensive but very useful. I moved a while ago and now I can’t find it. I’ve looked for the better part of a week. I assume it got left behind or lost. I finally break down and order a new one and it shows up this morning. I go into the kitchen and think, I need to put this in a place it will be easy to get to and not get lost. I find the perfect spot and son of a ***** if the ‘lost’ one is not sitting right there.

put the new one in a new special place and double your chances of finding one when you need it again!
11-04-2018 , 11:46 PM
I want to know what the item is?!
11-04-2018 , 11:52 PM
Irrelevant.
