I've had a couple of cheaper steam-based machines over the years and they suck. If you're a purist, you won't get the crema and it brews a too-hot, strong (probably bitter) cup of coffee as opposed to an espresso.

The cheap pump machines on amazon all seem to have mediocre ratings at best, so not sure what your best course of action is

Sometimes those espresso machines just fall right off the back of a UPS truck.

This is like one of the four things that I will get fired for. Espresso machine seems unlikely. Ty you all for saving me money.

I have one. But for me it is a must since I am a coffee addict. And I have one not with cartridges, but that grinds the coffee fresh. The price difference for coffee grains/cartridges is a lot, but I believe that the one with cartridges are a lot easier to clean.

Of course guac on a burger is absolutely fine, you mold eating morons.

That particular guac is looking rather anemic, but at least there is side kimchi.

Adding a price range would help a lot in figuring out what suits you. Nespresso over here and its perfect for my coffee needs, not too big of a coffee snob though.

Just buy a case of 5 hour energies.

Kimchi is a really weird side for that burger.

Kimchi is also one of the very few things I wont eat when properly prepared.

Might try this approach and find out how many you need to drink to turn yourself into Cornholio.

I second this. Best cup of coffee short of an espresso machine. I've converted at least 5 family members to this method.

Edit: I didn't realize the video was saying the aeropress put out espresso. I doesn't. It does make a great cup of coffee though.

I’m not allowed to have a real opinion on burgers anymore, but when I was a beef eater I liked guac on a bacon cheese burger now and then. Still not sure it was an upgrade to the NOLA burger.

She said it was tasty. It does look like just mashed avocado. The kimchi came from the topping bar.

I agree, but they can’t add $2.50 to your bill for a downgrade.

I had a Cajun chicken breast sandwich with ghost pepper jack, pickled onion, dill pickles, (one leaf of) hand leafed lettuce and upgraded to season curly fries. Did side those little peppers which are hotter than the average joe would enjoy. Since I know a chicken sandwich is not worth mentioning itt, and certainly not posting a pic, please refrain from reading this part.

mark, did you watch the video? It's not just espresso beans in the aeropress, it shows the TOP SECRET method for making it more espresso-like.

I already have an Aeropress, but I will not watch the video in memory of Roy Clark.

The Pro Tip is put a 2nd filter on top of the grounds and tamp down the grounds before adding the water in order keep everything compressed when you plunge, and the result is a 95% MATCH to a real espresso. (I have not tried this but a YouTube would not lie)

I have not watched the video. Not sure I can give it a shot. I only have one metal filter, no paper filters. Maybe I can use a slice of cucumber for the other filter.
