That is more or less Beast's version of events. I will agree that I deserve much of the blame for that going sideways because when he finally got motivated enough to do it, I was working 80 hour weeks and traveling and not super responsive to him. I'm not comfortable going into too much detail about what happened, but I'm cool with being the bad guy in the story. I assume he never did the counseling because they never charged my card. I gave him a throw away gmail address to write to and I eventually forgot what it even was, so if he resumed his attempts to arrange it I didn't see them.

TBH, I had stopped following the thread for while prior to that and didn't see his reaction, but I can imagine. I only read this one because it seemed much shorter and easier to consume.

I still think this place is bad for him and that he needs consistent therapy, but I lost interest in trying to solve it myself.

The mods have pretty much solved this one I think - he's now OTCB on sight, despite his many, many attempts to return.

At least now we know why Babs never posted any pictures of himself with actual women
