And most people function in the adult world without everyone they know going, damn, that guy has serious issues. Could most people be even happier and more functional? Sure, but most people also don't basically require mental health professionals to function in everyday adult life.
If you did not have an incredibly generous safety net in your family, your various issues would have either a) motivated you to do some serious work on yourself or b) resulted in you being destitute by now.
How many adults do you think have housing and money without gainful employment or being on some type of government subsistence? You have advantages most others could not dream of, and that has allowed you to make it to your mid 30s without having to face a lot of very painful truths.
