Wow. So... someone linked the Thinking of Quitting thread in SB. I couldn't stop reading. I skimmed some parts (mostly G10 rants), but I've spent the last couple of weeks reading that thread, then this one.

Early on it was interesting to me because it was an insight into the mind of the losing sports bettor. Then it was interesting trying to guess what his problem is. Autism + something Cluster B is my best guess. The Hunchcap penalty situation was such a classic autistic meltdown that I kind of felt for him there, and the his hot and cold behavior with *everyone*, including TBoss and Tak, is such standard BPD stuff.

I really thought early on, seeing the length of the thread, that he'd take responsibility for himself and turn something around, given the number of people who were trying to help him here.

Nope.

While it's easy to say 'well his parents spoiled him' or whatever, and feel bad for how childlike he is in his need for help doing basic things ("Someone find me the rules/my record" over and over), he's a 30-something year old man. He's responsible for himself, whether he wants to be or not.

He could overcome if he were willing to try. Until he is, everyone in this thread is perfectly justified in protecting themselves and others from him.
