Interesting.

I have never applied different strategies due to racial or ethnic origins. Perhaps you could clarify what you mean by this.

Players of African American Origin should theoretically be no more predictable that those of European ancestry.

I must admit I had not thought along those lines before. A higher degree of general athleticism as it relates to player consistency and predictability is something that is generally not analyzed not only for the political and racial implications but for other reasons as well.

I would actually venture to guess that there would be more variance in the African players. White boys who generally rely on finesse and shooting gonna hit their shots more consistent whereas the black players who have more of a refined game may have more volatile productivity due to utilization of a broader spectrum of talents and approaches that could water down their shooting or PPG, or defense, just to throw out a few possibilities. Or turnovers.

In other words it seems like the white guy Chris Mullin would be less likely to go 0 for 17 like Tim Hardaway did in that fateful game in Dallas in 1991 I believe it was.

I watched in horror as he threw up enough bricks to build a house.

So you're saying that white players tend to be more consistent than black players who tend to have more performance fluctuations or variance in their output? A simpler way of saying this is that black players tend to be more uppity?

I do not have enough data to back up such a claim. I was merely speculating based off of my views since I have been a fan.

If someone put a gun to my head I would probably say yes I think white players are likely to be overall more consistent than black players.

The problem with claims like this is you got guys like Hakeem Olajuwon who spit in the face of this theory.

Its important to remember we are looking at a broad massive scale and not to localize it to a few players.

Which ironically is an error that is very commonly made when analyzing things like this. You gotta look at the big picture and while you have a tendency to think "Oh well what about Jordan, come on"! We are not talking about one or two guys. Were looking at the entire massive picture of every league in the entire world.

Tbab,

What are your thoughts on the recent oil market volatility?

The plummeting oil prices is temporary and oil will recover and boom yet again. The only way this is not a good investment is if the second coronavirus outbreak wave is significantly worse than the first, threatening collapse of our economic structure.

I must say tho that when an empty barrel was worth more than a full barrel of oil I thought it was pretty damn funny.

Oil will persevere once again. Its almost as sure a bet as there is. The only danger is if the coronavirus continues to ravage the world and the economy on an even greater scale than weve already seen in which case there will be no demand for oil.
