yeah definitely agree. Im sure he thinks of himself as a winning sportsbetter who just cant win because of his lack of control.
Even if he just thinks that hell never have that control and so should stop, I think you are right and that eventually hell come back to it, because hell think at some point hes overcome his demons enough to be able to control it (that is assuming he even turned his life around even the least little bit) and I doubt he learns the value of hard work any time soon, so hell still try and take the easy way out, to what he thinks is easy riches.
Eventually? There's a very good chance he's drinking and gambling within a week
Card counting is extremely easy and i could do it in my sleep. Its only worth it if you are betting with a spread and have a massive roll tho.
If I had a computer I'd set up a test for you. Would you bet your next payment to fubs that you could give a count when asked using the most basic counting system?
Card counting:
1) the penetration is too bad (shallow) to make it successful
2) you need to play 2 hands to take advantage of the high count (and playing 2 hands until it gets there can be expensive)
So I called the 3rd number and left a message. I was contacted about 20 minutes ago by the psychiatry asst who said UCLA is currently doing a case study on people who gamble and and it in exchange they are giving 22 sessions of free counseling. I'm starting this Thursday at noon.
