This reminds me, I was chatting with someone in the cardroom who had recently lost a hand of Pai Gow (tiles not poker) where he had the exact same hand as the banker. I realize this probably isn't all that rare given there are only 32 tiles, but just seemed super unlikely. Unreal, even.

But he sure gets a thread fired up when he shows up despite his utter lack of talent in every imaginable respect.

Of course I would trust you not to angle, Howard, pretty much regardless of amount...but the low amount is what will get my action, because honestly this seems like an especially difficult absence to set an O/U on, and I have no confidence in winning this bet.

The O/U line will have to be private until the bet completes in order to avoid the public knowledge influencing the outcome through none of your doing. Same with which side of the O/U you've chosen. I'll PM you a line, and if these conditions are cool with you then you can pick the side. I fear that I'm about to send a laughably soft line, but here goes.
