El Diablo,

I'm assuming it was the largest moneyline favorite available at that time of night, and that the "need to get even" was strong.

(Also, man, the cognitive dissonance between the "I'm 20-10 on the day so I'm a winner" and the "I'm down on the day so I have to get even" schools of thought is one of my favorite things about the old thread.)

Wow, just browsing through SBR and apparently a lot of those guys are just now blindly fading Babs' bets.

And getting rich

He did say a system that loses all the time is just as good as one that wins.

Brock,

To be fair, he did say early on that he was just sure his system was consistent, but wasn't sure whether it was predicting winners or losers.

If he had placed 1k on warriors moneyline from game 1 through 24 he'd be sitting on 45000. Instead he's putting it on obscure soccer matches and heading towards broken bone collection methods.

Beast you sad mother****er

Right?
That would really suck as he recently donated $100 to become an sbr pro.

Leo,

IIRC, that figure was if you kept letting it ride.

I don't know if this is correct, but this ESPN article says:

Quote:
If you bet $100 on the Warriors money line in all 25 of their games so far, you'd only be up around $500.

Allin,

Please get his capping report for the Club America play, thanks!

Yeah I thought letting it ride throughout the streak paid 45-1

Leo,

In that case he would have lost $1000 doing that since he certainly wasn't going to take it off for a game vs Milwaukee!

I wonder what Michael Jordan's record would look like. Some super rich guy would be the only possible type of person to even be in the running just because of survivor bias, right?

Actually, its possible for this bet to still end in a push.

Assuming vegas rules. The bet must go the full regular season to count. The reason being if something crazy happened like the power went out for the entire stadium, or a tornado, etc. And one of their regular season games was called off before 55 minutes were played? The regular season win total ends in a push.

It actually happened this year in college football, with LSU. They had a game called in the 3rd quarter. Season win total bets... all money returned.

Its extremely rare, but still, I've seen crazier things.
