The BayAreaBeast Bankroll Investment:

Terms:
-Babs will be the betting expert, all picks will be made by him and the investment group will trust him to make profitable picks over the life of the bankroll. (edit: if Babs mental health comes into question betting powers can be temp suspended with a majority vote of investors until Babs is healthy again. We need to protect the money but also support him and not bail just because he has a bad day or two health wise)

-Babs will have no direct access to the bankroll. A 3rd party will manage the bankroll account and make all bets on Babs behalf. 3rd party will be responsible for accounting for and making timely payments of dividends to investors and to a Beast. This 3rd party is the Account Steward.

-Equity split: Babs 50% Investors 50% this allows Babs shares to be diluted if more capital needs to be raised at a later time. This also allows for a fair value to be placed or Babs expertise.

Payment of Dividends: 25% of each weeks profits will be put aside for dividends to be paid to investors every 4 weeks. The dividend account will be split amongst the investors based on their equity owned in the account. The other 75% will be reinvested into the account.

Payment to Babs: Every 4 weeks Babs will get a disbursement of 50% of the accounts current profits per his current 50% equity. If his equity changes his percentage of profits paid will change accordingly.

Payment to Account Steward: the steward of the account (3rd party) will be paid a 2.5% commission on all profits every 4 weeks pre-investors & Babs. This is a valuable position and deserves compensation.

Natamus clause: Natamus will take a 5% royalty on every winning bet to be paid once its accumulated $200 then the royalty expires.

End of account life: at the end of the account's life the account will be split amongst Babs and all investors after principal is returned I.e. Account total - $2,000 principal = revenue split amongst Babs and investors based on equity %.

I may of missed a thing or two that need to be added or edited.

Other than that I am "in" once we have at least $1,000 in investors.

I know Babs is excited to go 50/50 but I think we need more capital so he can actually make some money and we have a chance to see some real returns.

I also think we could back him beyond NFL if this works out during the NFL and could keep this account growing with great potential but we need to support him with a structure that protects him from himself and we need to raise some more capital so he can have room to make plays.

Some (conservative) back of the envelope math:

If we invest $2,000 and keep Beast to a flat $100 bet limit I expect he could reasonably make 160 bets in the rest of the NFL season or $16,000 in bets. With 57% winning percentage and average vig -120 we are looking at about ~$7,000 in profit after my royalty expires.

Account Steward gets $175-200. ~$1700 in dividends paid to investors. That leaves $5,100 profit ($7,100 total) of which $2,550 would be paid to Babs and $2,550 profit would be left in the account ($4550 total).

At that time we could vote to pay the $550 as a dividend split between investors and Babs to give him a boost and it'll make investors minimally whole on their initial investment($2,000 returned to investors in dividends). We could then go after NBA and college Basketball with $4000 and a $200 bet minimum

That all sounds fine to me. I'm reasonably certain I could hit better than 57%. The only thing that concerns me is the account steward running off with thousands of dollars.

That's the awesome part is I think when you're focused and controlled you're a potential long term 60% winner. After two season cycles we could have you betting 300-400 a bet, making a few thousand every week in income profit payments while investors cheer you on give you bet tips to consider and get dividend payments.

The Account Steward may be a problem. Maybe we pay them more like 5% to incentive them to be a good ape. I wish my financial adviser had the time to do it but if I don't I know he doesn't.

I would trust someone like el d that I've done plenty of stuff with before and does tons of transactions on this site. But like me and you most people are pretty busy.

I'm certainly not trying to knock bluff as I believe him to be a stand-up guy. The only thing is even people who we have known to be solid and trustworthy may bail on us when they are looking at an easy score of say 10-15k. Surely we can think of something tho. Account steward should be forced to divulge all personal details, name, address, vehicle license plate etc.

There is zero doubt in my mind I can continue to do what I've been doing picking NFL games. Time to capitalize. I'm bringing something to the table here and I need others to contribute as well.
