FWIW on Kaep I think NFL teams have been cowardly in how they've handled the Kaep situation with their silence. Most teams could do much worse than a 30 year old who's 28-30 as a starter, 4-2 in the playoffs, career 60% comp and a 72-30 TD/INT ratio.

My team Oakland was right there and instead we roll out butthole EJ Manuel as a back up.

So in my opinion although it would be terrible hard for him to win I think he has a case for suing the NFL for preventing his right to work based on religious and/or political beliefs which is workplace discrimination. He'd never play again but he's not playing now so what's there to lose

That reminds me the CPA who audits the restaurant before Babs attempts to buy it need to also review their tax returns and make sure the restaurant has been paying all of its taxes and employee benefits (social security/insurance) and they don't have any liens, garnishments etc.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't have anyone on ignore so I didn't even know this was an option.

Thread took a weird turn with Alobar professing a desire to shoot domestic cats. Feral cats are a huge problem to the wildlife here and I do know people who shoot feral cats on their properties or if they see them in the bush. Also plenty of farmers will shoot a dog on sight if it's on their property. It's understandable and my backyard is a fortress to ensure my dogs can't get out.

Restaurants are hard work. Do your friend and his wife run it or do they have a manager? You have to take into account if you are running it the huge hours that will go into it plus it's pretty helpful if you are a people person as you have both the staff and customers to deal with. It takes a lot of work and things can go to crap really quickly. I would only ever recommend it to someone who really was passionate about doing it and had a very good work ethic.

I've definitely had some unreasonable neighbors. One guy ran a leaf blower every Saturday morning at 0700, rainbor shine. He did and does deserve a few shotgun pellets in the ass for that.
