It's very easy to be profitable when you don't take salary expense into account. The husband and wife apparently earn about $48k each per year working at the restaurant, and the restaurant itself is a break-even operation. Buying a break-even business for $85k doesn't seem too appealing. Even LOLDiablo understands this.
