I like how all you olds are pining for some lost golden age of fast food. Back when Burger King was great and dinosaurs worked the drive-thru window there.

It's a fact that a lot of chains have lost their way. It happens. The quest for maximum profits doesn't always result in a better product.

Pizza!Pizza! was actually decent stuff. How they sunk from that to the Hot N Crappy is kind of sad.

Hit Del Taco tonight for the first time in a while. I got 4 $.59 tacos and 2 $.89 green chile burritos off of the value menu. Tacos were much bigger and better that I previously remembered, and the burritos were much smaller and meh that I previously remembered. Still, for $4.48, it was a satisfying enough meal. The Del Tacos here have Taco Tuesdays (3 for $1.09), so I foresee a return trip on some future Tuesday.

Had the Arby's Brown Sugar Bacon and Roast Beef sandwich today. Goddamn that was good!! Super tasty, and the bacon, roast beef, cheese and sauces really complemented each other, along with the Hawaiian bun. Big sandwich too. Got the homemade garlic parmesan chips with and the taste was fine but they were inconsistent texture-wise.

The salads from Little Squeezers are actually not bad - IF you get them semi-early in the day. They make them when they open and they sit in the fridge all day. They get soggy-ish by the end of the day.

The Brown Sugar BLT only has mayo. The Brown Sugar Bacon/Roast Beef has a creamy dijon sauce. Just looked on Arby's site to see that and was staggered that the BSBRB only has 720 calories. Wish I had one right now!

Not bad. Got a nice pile of bacon when I ordered them. Enjoyed the ghost pepper fries just a tad more. Decent sauce/cheese combo.

I think the breakfast sandwiches and burritos at Wawa are tastier while also cheaper compared to what you would get at Starbucks or Panera. The fresh pico they put on the burritos is top notch. I would recommend.

The Little Caesars near me are all individually owned so they charge more than the advertised prices. $5.99 for a large cheese pizza and $6.99 for a one topping. There's no way I'm gonna pay those prices when I can get a large 3 topping at Dominos for $7.99 Monday-Thursday.

they re did (construction, new design/signage etc) every Wendy's near me last year. All 4 closed at the same time for 3 months or so. Haven;t been back since they reopened. Too angry.

This really is an amazing theme here. My favorite variant on this are the repeated claims that ff burgers have somehow gotten smaller. Now that's a pretty suspect claim.

Some FF burgers have indeed gotten smaller. The BK lol double chzbrgr is a lot smaller.
