Do you mean from McDonalds or in general?

I guess in general and I'll eat fried fish platters or a tuna sandwich. I've just never walked into a FF joint and thought - "That fish sandwich is what I'm here for". It's like going to a great seafood restaurant and ordering steak - I don't get it.

It's a pretty well-known entity. Also didn't know reviews were expected every post.

Anyway, it's good, but I don't like it enough to pay $4.50 for it, so I got it on friday (during lent) when it's was on sale for $2. Guess i value the FoF somewhere between $2 and $4.50!

Had a BOGO coupon for Hardees El Diablo thickburger. 5/5. I wouldn't pay full price for it (~$7) because I'm cheap, but it was very, very tasty.

Yeah, Burger Thing and JITB both have one that's bigger and a buck fitty cheaper. They taste about 80% as good as the FoF so I get the cheapos unless I have a good day on the tables.

Not a big fan of fish either, but my HDL's were low, and fish is a better alternative than pills.

In other news, I saw today that JITB has a burger with ghost pepper sauce. Not my kind of deal but I know there are masochists here that like that sort of thing.

i'm about to go to Five Guys for the first time and heard they have like a million toppings which is kind of intimidating, can someone recommend a burger/topping combo that's super delicious?

Since it's your first time, be safe and get a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles, grilled onion, grilled mushrooms, jalapenos, grilled jalapenos, bbq sauce, A-1 sauce, hot sauce, and ketchup.

Nice.

If you like bacon, get bacon. Otherwise standard cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms. Let the meat speak for itself. Then do up a deluxe the next time you go.

Always get the mushrooms if you like mushrooms though. They are great

alright im thinking about compromising with:

Bacon Cheeseburger: lettuce, pickles, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, grilled mushrooms, hot sauce...and maybe A1? thoughts?

Pass on the a1

passed on the A1 and got everything else in my post...god, it really is better than a restaurant burger. was worried the ingredients would get cluttered together and cancel each other out, but it's just perfect.

i got the cajun fries which are pretty good but not as life-changing as the burger, love the seasoning but they're a little soggy for my taste.

It's strange that any adult in USA#1 would not know what they like on a burger from a place with standard toppings. It's not like there are options you don't usually see, like at somewhere like umami burger.

Little Bacon Cheeseburger, Mayo, Pickles, Jalapeños, Ketchup, Mustard imo

5 guys would be so much better if they put it on a plate. The foil combined with the fries in the bag makes the bun mushy in a very short time.

I don't think it's an odd question to ask at all. Obviously he knows what he likes on a burger he was just asking if there was anything that 5 guys does exceptionally well. I would make a similiar post for something like in-n-out because I've never been there.

I just clicked the 'go to first new post' arrow here and started reading some posts written by a guy who was determined to read all the posts in this thread and this thread is so awesome and if there were a non-gay way to do it he would have ElD's babies. It was a little frightening but I thought the guy just really likes cheeseburgers.

I guess the page jumped and it was some other thread that I don't read.

Agreed, there are variations in toppings. Onion on a burger from Hardee's is fine with me, but the diced onion Whataburger uses just ruins the burger.
