I just used a bogo coupon and got 2 Whataburgers. Tasty as always, excellent service, but man they keep jacking up the prices. It's now $3.39 plus tax, and that's without cheese. Just a couple of years ago it was $2.75 as I remember.

McDonalds by me has raised the price of the Double Cheeseburger to a full $1.69... and McChicken to $1.19... but Buffalo Ranch McChicken stays at $1.00 (probably an oversight).

Honestly still a good value, just not a super great one.

Needed a quick lunch the other day and the only thing close was Whole Foods. Grabbed two slices/pieces of their pepperoni pizza for $9 thinking I would be getting some kind of high quality pie. WF pizza is basically a dressed up Dominos - no taste crust and extra sweet sauce - a total scam and sham at $4.50 a slice!!

At the whole foods here pizza is sold by the slice or pie (not by weight) and is reasonably priced, but it is pretty terrible pizza.

Old pro move was buying the biggest uncooked cheese pizza at Sam's/Costco for a killer price, then decking it out & baking it at home. Sick value and good custom grub.

I did.

Was very meh. Bacon was cold, cheese was not melted, biscuit was dry, and it was incredibly messy. Will stick with crunch wrap going forward

I used to do that with my local Safeway. They had uncooked large combos with lots of good toppings but almost no cheese. Go buy some cheese and put it on top, and it was better than most delivery I could get. They stopped selling that kind a couple years ago.

For a quick pizza lunch I go to Target. They have a Pizza Hut Express where the personal pan pizzas seems to have survived the crapifying that Pizza Hut has inflicted on their normal pizzas. They're $4.50 or 5 bucks or so.
