Saw ads for the creamy sriracha sauce now available in LOLCanada last night so off to subway at some point this week to try. I am thinking it would be best on a steak and cheese (admittedly I do not like subway chicken at all) but I will see where this creamy road takes me.

Take this over to the Red Lobster Endless Shrimp/Outback unlimited shrimp thread.

The sauce debate got me thinking about a Signature Burger poll. The burger should be* long standing with history/nostalgia behind it and be what the company holds as their icon. Chicken or beef sammich as well, unless this gets complaints and there needs to be a beef champ and a chicken champ.

Price point is not up for debate, but should not come from a dollar/value menu.

Here are some ideas:

McDs: Big Mac
BK: Whopper
Wendys: Baconator *(Baconator has not been available for a very long time but is more of an icon at Wendy's than a classic double w/cheese but someone can make a case for the classic double if they like)
KFC: Big Crunch
A&W: Teen Burger
In-N-Out: Double Double
Dairy Queen: Flame Thrower Burger

Cap it at 10 so we can make a separate poll thread. If later it is deemed worthy, make a value menu poll too (JBC vs. mcdouble etc)

thoughts? Votes? Additions to the list?

Yea I saw this too. They suggest it for the steak and cheese, but does anyone have any other ideas? Not usually a fan of subway's steak and cheese..

Would like to try it out this week.

Buffalo Ranch McChicken was excellent. Added pickles to it (always free). Good amount of sauce and a clear upgrade over the regular version. Unreal value for a buck. Double Down got a bum sandwich. Get McDs infrequently but this is a staple of every order going forward.

BBQ Ranch Burger was mediocre, sadly. I added shredded lettuce and pickles (again, free) so there was a lot going on. The dressing was "southwest"-tasting and the little chips they added provided a little crunch. Value is great for a buck, but the sandwich is inferior to the Grilled Onion Cheddar or McDouble (even with the price increase). I won't be purchasing again.

Took some Extreme Dollar Menu Item close up photos but my phone is being a POS and crashing when I try and upload them. Sorry fellas.

Will it be worth the extra $5 they charge is the real question.

I just had both and agree 100% with this.

the buffalo ranch mcchicken is elite. i can eat mcchickens for days and this sauce makes it even better now.

bbq ranch burger didn't really blow me away. it kind of tasted like a mcdouble with a dorito chip in the middle.

overall, the dollar menu got even better!

I usually have it with steak and egg white almost every morning but its good with bacon egg and cheese too. For lunch it's probably good on turkey or maybe roast beef. It's so good you could probably put it on anything though.

I had a quick look at the menu online and though this too.

Turkey, roast beef, would be excellent on a tuna sub (I put ranch and sriracha on tuna already), steak and cheese, maybe the subway club or subway melt too.

I have had it on the Chicken and the Melt, great on both. Sandwich Artists at my local Subway have to ask customers if they have tried the Creamy Sriracha before applying to sandwiches because they have been getting complaints it is too hot... I think it is perfect

If you had to eat all of your meals at one place only for 30 days straight which would you choose...Chipotle or McDonalds?

That's actually pretty tough....assuming I would simply have to sustain my normal life for 30 days and not force feed myself 3 or 2 full fast food meals a day Im leaning towards McDonalds cuz of variety. No breakfast allowed and I might take chipotle.

You can eat as little or as much as you want but all food and drink must be from your chosen restaurant.

Chipotle has better quality food. But I still offer that the choice is McDs.

This was stupid though, he was eating some of the worst menu options with giant fries and sodas.

I would probably choose Chipotle (I never really eat breakfast anyway), but McDs isn't a terrible option. I'm not a variety guy at McDs and although there are more options there I could eat Chipotle's food every day and not get sick of it.
